Great value for money! We got the 16 pieces for $98 (15 pieces nigiri and 1 hand roll) and they were so yummy! Small little place, nice and chill atmosphere. Would come back!

Delicious. The fish was fresh, the server was really pleasant and the chef’s attention to detail was incredible. The rice was also good quality, as was the genmaicha. The restaurant was also a very relaxed vibe, a chill spot for a lovely dinner that wasn’t crowded or loud from people or music. Absolutely go back for more!

Last night’s omakase dinner at Sushi Dojo was unforgettable experience for me. We tried their new 12 premium pieces Japanese course for $98 and it was spot on. Smoked isaki, kinmedai, aji and A5 wagyu beef with foie gras were spectacular to name a few. Our chef Tony was very engaging and waiter Carlos was very attending with the service. We will definitely be back.

Definitely not the quality you expect for 90 a person. Sushi was very mediocre, out of 10 pieces there was only one that was good.

Sushi Dojo I really wanted to like. The server is what impressed us most. We arrived early and therefore the place was empty. It was also a Wednesday. None of thet matters, other than we expected to receive great food as there were no others.

Their omakase is the best quality for value in NYC. I’ve been to many omakase restaurants, but never had such a variety of fish for $98. Carlos is the excellent host. He took great care of us. Freshness of fish topped with excellent service will make me keep coming back

One of the original modern Omakase bars, they use ingredients like truffle foam, fois gras, chili oil, and caviar liberally. The quality has remained strong after all these years, and it’s now an overlooked option with the east village gaining so many new Omakase spots in the last 3-4 years. Good value at under $100, missing max though.
