First time trying this place. The staff are great, the service is very good. It’s a shame the food is mostly poor quality. The agadashi tofu was good. The shumai appeared to have come from Costco or something like that. I wanted it to be good. It was not. Service was great. I also think this place might have a few things it does well. But avoid the sushi and seafood. I’ll check again in a year.

Well, something has changed……owners or suppliers, maybe both. The host & servers are great, the food is NOT what it used to be, rice is bland or old. The fish matches the rice, doesn’t seem fresh. Unless something drastically changes, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I keep trying to order through delivery services and having my order cancelled 30-60 minutes after I place it, making finding another dinner option a race against time. The food is good, but not at all worth the hassle if you’re not going to sit down. And at this point I’m so frustrated I’ll never go in again. Sushi Island might make sushi that doesn’t even compare, but at least I know that when I place an order, I’ll get my meal.
