Expensive but what can you really do being in Little Tokyo. Staff was very accommodating to larger parties. The sushi was tasty and fresh. We got 4 separate lemon rolls in our large order, always a good go-to refresher.

The Toro Ponzu sashimi just melted in your mouth. Prepared minimally so you could just savor the taste of the tuna. And the AC Milan roll was just a wonderful bite, lobster, eel sauce and chili oil was a fantastic combination. Just a terrific dining experience

Seriously the cutest place with the best food. The staff was incredible and were able to get us seats at the chefs table 20 minutes before they opened. The whole staff can’t be beat, they were all incredibly nice and helpful. My boyfriend got the tasting menu. He said he liked being able to try everything but if he were to come again he would order a couple of his favorites. The way they specifically make their sushi is incredible to watch. They have a vegan tasting menu but I was happy pigging out on the garlic edamame (yes, you have to try it). Definitely worth eating here if you can.

The sashimi was very flavorful, the hand rolls however were a little soggy but the sashimi was very high quality, we had the assorted sashimi and the Enya chiryashi bowl.

Found this little gem after wanting to try a new sushi restaurant near me in Little Tokyo and this place hit the spot You may need to make a reservation, on the weekend in the evening, but the sashimi, and rolls were fresh and the service was great! I’ll be back for sure.

How have I not reviewed the one sushi spot that I visit every week? I don’t even like to try other restaurants because I will always compare them to Sushi Enya. My go-to dishes are the yellowtail, albacore, and salmon hand rolls and the lemon roll. Oh my gosh, back to the hand rolls. The nori is warm from the rice but still so crispy and fresh. I find that they’re fairly generous with the amount of fish they serve. Oh and don’t forget your veggies – the cucumber salad is so refreshing. Dip it just a tiny bit in your soy sauce and wasabi concoction.
