Food is 5 Star, without a doubt. Location is not great and the atmosphere is that of a gas station basically, however I think it’s in the DNA of this place. It’s all about the food. It’s very clean and well organized and the food is a 10/10. It’s not a place for a date or a special occasion, so as long as the expectations are set, to go for the FOOD, then you’ll be happy because that they do better than anywhere else.

Very lovely late lunch. The food was delicious all around. Macadamia Roll and Truffle Tuna were the highlights of everything we ordered. I felt a little bit intimidate by the rule of ordering everything all at once but I now have a better understanding of the menu. Excited to comeback.

Sushi Erika has been my go-to spot for years now, and it never disappoints. The magic truly began when I was a regular at her father’s sushi deli.

It has been one of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had!!!! Everything was AMAZING. Very glad I tried it!!!!!! From the avocado fries to the Love Roll to the mill crepe cake!!! Ufff all yum!!! Don’t be fool like me, if you hear Sushi Erika drop what you are doing and order your sushi!!!!! (You’re welcome)

Absolutely the best sushi spot in Miami, if not Florida, with Master Chef Erika. From a long family tradition of excellence and perfection, every single ingredient that goes into every dish, the maki, the sashimi, the nigiri, and everything in between- is fresh and full of flavor. Try the whole Aji fish with the meat sashimied between razor thin slices of lime, then the entire skeleton deep fried for your culinary pleasure. Nothing is wasted. Erika’s is a gem! The whole menu is excellent, but the omakase (chef’s choice) is not to be missed. You will pay a premium for this option, but the value is high. The quality of the food for the price makes this my go-to sushi spot.

We were very impressed with the delicious sushi here! We went on a Friday @4:00 pm and it was not crowded and we were seated immediately. Boom! Because we were very hungry. Not to worry because the server was on it! We started with the Avocado Fries, which were to die for! Dip it in the Spicy Mayo and you will be smiling immediately! Then we started with the Crispy Tuna Rice, which was soooo good!! Loved it!! Next we tried the Love Roll, which we did not like at all due to the strange bitter flavor. We had to quickly move on to get rid of the after taste, which the server said may have been the truffle oil in it. But the next ones were delicious: Crispy Shrimp Rice roll and a Salmon and Rice Bagel roll. Outstanding!!!! Not sure of the actual names of the last two that I mentioned but they were really good! Lastly, I want to mention how clean and nicely decorated the restaurant is. It’s very soothing and calming! Service was excellent also. Parking is available right out front and steps away to the restaurant. We live in the neighborhood and will definitely be back!

It’s fantastic to see Erika’s no frills sushi restaurant carrying on her father’s Sushi Deli legacy in her in unique way. The restaurant remind me of the restaurants I have visited in Japan: small, simple, and clean, but packs a huge punch with several fresh sushi offerings which are a cut above your typical sushi joint. For example, they regularly have various types of Uni (Japanese, California, Alaska, Canada) and classic imported Japanese fish like mackerel and needlefish. The Canadian uni is quite good but the Japanese uni is phenomenal. They also have pickled fish, which will satisfy Japanese purists. The quality of the fish was excellent and served at the appropriate temperature. Their sushi rice is properly cooked and compliments the nigiri perfectly. They even have real grated wasabi ($3.50) which I’ve only seen at high end Japanese restaurants and takes sushi to another level. Their more Americanized rolls are also excellent like the captain roll and dragon roll. Erika and one or two other sushi chefs run the bar, meticulously preparing the sushi at a respectable speed. For appetizers, the fried baby octopus are delicious. The avocado fries is the only dish I didn’t care for as the batter was not very crispy, but still a decent appetizer. Service is friendly and prompt. Prices are very reasonable. They are open only for lunch only (usually 12pm-6pm). Perhaps they will extend their hours over time. Overall, easily the best choice for exceptional quality sushi in the area served in a casual setting.

Sushi Erika is a nice little restaurant in North Bay Village with wonderful service and quality food. It was my first time going and I was quite surprised at how good the hand rolls were. The pricing was phenomenal as well. I would highly recommend going.

Best sushi by far in Miami. My husband + I have an obsession with Japan. We’ve been twice and it RARE to find gem sushi places in the states. This is by far one of them! Very fresh fish and rice is on point! Went with a friend today and can’t wait to bring my husband here. So so so delicious.
