Skudmonkey 2.0!
Sushi Freak is so freaking awesome! The employees are friendly and the sushi burritos are delicious and I love getting to watch them make the food! It’s sort of like the Subway of sushi. A couple minor complaints that I have are that they don’t provide wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce unless you ask and they’re also a little stingy with napkins, but we still enjoyed our experience and we’ll definitely be back in the near future! 🙂

First time here, I ordered five different sushi burritos, word to wise, these things are huge. 3 would have been plenty. Gunshow, Fistbump, Dr. Eelgood and Kookmeyer. Just awesome service when entering restaurant, and wow, the food was so good. This is a place I will recommend and come back to as well. Surprised I have not been here before. Good job to the staff on everything from service to food prep. Thanks.

First of all, we’ve been going to the other sushi freak locations for years and this was the best we’ve had yet! There were two young men working on the evening of 5/30 and they were awesome. We got two sodas with our food and totally forgot to grab them off the counter when we left, didn’t notice until we got home but we didn’t feel the need to call and say anything. A few days later I noticed on my credit card statement that they refunded us for the sodas without even asking. So nice of them! Great food and service.

Stopped here on the way out of town and it was very tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Loved all the choices. It’s like Subway in the respect that you can basically just point to whatever you want behind the glass and they’ll put it in your bowl! It was very reasonably priced and everything was very clean. We recently were in Hawaii eating poké bowls and this place honestly had more options than many places we went to there. It was DEFINITELY cheaper by a long shot too! Give it a try!

Update: Recently changed from Poke LuLu to Sushi Freak. The food is still fresh but the lead server was off putting, she seemed to rush people and didn’t honor a military discount like every other sushi freak location. They are still using all of the Poke LuLu bowls and custom named items from the previous brand. I really liked this location before, disappointed and won’t be returning to this location.

This is a smaller location so the service is naturally slower, but the day I called in my order and picked it up, the 3 staff members working were killing it! They were slammed with orders and did not miss a beat! One thing though: the unagi sauce they use looks, feels, and somewhat tastes a lot like barbecue sauce, so if you’re texture-weird with food keep that in mind!

The food is phenomenal. It does “feed the need”. I like the service, a very quick and simple, in and out or eat in type deal. The menu has some really nice solid choices to offer . The place is small, like a couple tables but its really the service that matters most however; it was a pleasant experience.
