What an amazing atmosphere and great Sushi experience…. The sushi was fresh and out of this world….. the service was good a little slow at times but it was busy but overall not bad…

Hands down a must for foodies. It’s been there 19 years and is a local favorite. The freshest fish flown in from various places. The sushi was wrapped tightly, doors shut to maintain proper temperature thus preventing bacteria growth. The owner and workers are incredibly hospitable and friendly. The fish is not only fresh but they provide generous sized amounts. The green tea was good but they also carry beer on tap, bottle and of course saki. The atmosphere is small and cozy and reflects positive energy and vibes. They are closed Tuesdays but I recommend trying any other day.

Based on the reviews and word of mouth from others, people are under the impression that this is the best place to go for sushi in the area. That is so far from the truth that I almost laughed while in the restaurant when I tried the food. This is better than grocery store sushi, but it is almost identical to sushi you can get across the street for 30% less of the price. No joke. This place is absurdly expensive for what you get and the quality.

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in the area. Sampled unagi, anago, rainbow roll, and murugai. All was sublime, paired with hot sake and miso.

Recently moved to Mead and was craving sushi. Decided to try this place for takeout. The restaurant seemed quaint and modern and service for pick up was pleasant and fast. Sushi is pretty good! Impressed with quality/flavor for Longmont. Would definitely return.
