I only have ordered to Takeout and delivery. I love this family owned and operated Sushi restaurant. Manny Sushi places are opening and closing in the neighborhood before I even get to try them and the ones I have given a chance they don’t surprise me for the positive. I was a Banzai customer before Sushi House 21. I like both but Sushi House 21 is the most consistent and reliable!

Decent for the price. the special rolls are actually good. I am a fan and would return. The seaweed salad is good in that it’s not saturated so I recommend that as well. Good service. Not too many quality places to eat in my opinion in the EWR area, and this fits the bill. Lunch menu pricing is fair.

The food is okay, nothing special. I always get a light feeling after eating sushi. I did not get that at all from here. I feel very heavy now. The rice is not good the California roll isn’t light and fresh. The eel was good. The salmon was just blah. I won’t be back and hope I don’t get sick, will update. The lady was nice and ran outside in the rain to give us our order.

Sushi House 21 is one of the best sushi restaurants in the Ironbound section of Newark. The owners are pleasant and the food, including the sushi, is always fresh… I have been ordering sushi from this particular restaurant, for a long time now, and have never had a complaint in regards to the service or the food quality. I highly recommend Sushi House 21 to anyone that is in the Newark area and enjoys eating delicious sushi, at an affordable price.

I had gotten a Sushi 21 roll and a Spider roll. First thing, they had no Sake. Secondly, I thought it tasted funny and then I realized the fish was spoiled. One thing you cannot play with is raw fish. I couldve gotten food poisoning. Would’ve called the health department but didn’t think to do that at the time. They could’ve made me really sick.

This place is tiny but mighty believe me when I tell you that their menu is fantastic and delicious. They have some incentives when you pay cash they would give you a discount and things like that, they are not permanent based on my experience but they still have great prices for the quality and quantity of food you get. The people at this place are very nice and kind. The other day I ordered 2 miso soups with my food and didn’t realize 1 of them was part of a special they had, but when I picked up my food the lady told me they would only charge 1 of the soups and explain there was a special. This speaks volumes as to their honesty and the customer service they provide. I recommend anytime.

Good enough. Ate here with a group of 8 before a Prudential Center concert. They were able to seat us, but can’t imagine capacity is more than 16-20. Timing was good as they have very appealing happy hour sushi deals. Quality and portion of the sushi was above average for the happy hour price. BYOB. Staff was helpful. Will come here again.
