The service was good. I had the bento box, and the California Roll did not taste fresh at all, but everything else was good. It’s a really small place, only a few tables. There is plenty of parking on the street and close to many other restaurants too.

This was our first time and we were celebrating Father’s Day. Very attentive to our needs and quick food service. The servers were extremely gracious and our food was delicious. The salmon plate was really good, as were the rolls and bento box. We will certainly return, when back in town.

This is, in my opinion, some of the best/consistent sushi in the tri-city “Lamorinda” area. The fish is fresh, the service is quick. Nothing on the menu really deviates from ‘normal sushi menu’ fare but they DO do it right. If in need of a solid sushi bar that you can depend on, time after time, even if it is DEFINITELY not exciting…this is for sure ‘it’. Thank god they stopped using the styrofoam post-COVID, that part was a definite bummer.

I will say yes, the rolls we ordered were delicious. My expectations were very low for this restaurant. This is due to the fact that the rolls turned out to be not really large. Also with the fact that I could not choose a dish on the menu for a long time, because there is some chaos on their website. In addition, some photos are not true. Ordered at random. That is, the advantage of this place, as it seemed to me, is only that their rolls are delicious. But to be honest, I didn’t eat enough. Therefore, I think that either the prices should be lower or the rolls should be bigger. Get the site up and running.

Never going back. Not only is it incredibly overpriced, even for Japanese food, they have terrible service. Our server forgot to bring multiple dishes, including my partner’s entire meal. He claimed he forgot to put the order in, even though he wrote everything on the same ticket. We all order sashimi and rolls, but for some reason they “forgot” one person’s order. We canceled it, they just said sorry and that was it. We were there for over an hour, they seemed like they were too busy with to go orders to care about patrons inside. Would’ve been nice if they could’ve comp something for the inconvenience, especially since our bill was ridiculously expensive. All that said, the food was not good, I’ve had better at Safeway’s premade sushi. Their rolls were very small and the sauces drizzled on top were tasteless, the udon broth literally looked and tasted like water. So disappointed in this place. Avoid this place, there’s so many better Japanese food/sushi places in the east bay/CCC, this place was not it

I’m not sure how they source their fish and produce, but it seems so healthy. I love this spot! Every time I’ve ordered food here I’m so impressed with the flavors and textures!!!!!! Their miso soup is the BEST, the avocado roll is exceptional and the salmon always tastes so fresh and not too fishy. Their salads are Green and the prices are very fair!!. The only thing I wish is that they could switch to paper or other non-plastic containers:( I love this place.

Clean and cozy space. My two item bento box of rice, teriyaki tofu and vegetable tempura was fresh, perfectly cooked, hot and delicious and came with miso soup and a salad. What an absolutely delightful lunch!
