Fresh sushi featuring sushi bar staples as well as an assortment of interesting rolls, including one with steak in it and another garnished with salsa. I had the submarine roll, which was a spicy tuna roll topped with fresh salmon and avocado. The vegetable roll was one of the better ones in town with a wide variety of vegetables in it. Also serves cooked foods and has a kids menu. Pleasant environment with very cordial service. Plenty of parking.

For a sushi restaurant, we opted for takeout this time. Unfortunately, I found the prices at Sushi Kami to be quite high considering the quality they offered. In San Diego, where there is a wide selection of sushi places, my top recommendation would be Sushi Deli. They have multiple locations and offer unbeatable prices without compromising on quality. In comparison, Sushi Kami fell short in terms of portion sizes for the price, especially when compared to other similar establishments. Overall, I would not recommend Sushi Kami if you’re looking for good value, taste, and quality.

The best sushi in RB by far. Dine in and take out are both great options. These folks know how to package take out! The family deals they have are a great value. Service has always been great, and the place is very clean. Parking is rough as the lot is small, but that’s not their fault.

Almost by chance, on a walk, my wife and I found a delicious place in our neighborhood. Just off freeway 15 is SushiKami, a Japanese food restaurant with excellent service. This time it was a lunch where we were able to try two of the dishes recommended by the house in their specials. A satisfactory experience, good flavor and quality of fresh products, our waitress was very kind and helped us at all times and took care of us very well. The restaurant in general has a very good sushi bar with a fairly balanced menu. An interesting beer and wine bar. The service was quite fast, and the quality of the food standard and fresh. Accessible parking but with a little traffic due to its proximity to the highway exit. My recommendation is if you are going to go Friday Saturday and Sunday dinner time is to make a reservation to avoid waiting due to the capacity of the place. Good for celebrating family birthdays.

This place is clean and right off of the freeway. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The Agedashi tofu was delicious but missing the radish that normally comes with it. The sushi was great and fresh!

The rolls were subpar and the menu offerings were limited. Very few innovative or fresh offerings. We walked in at 8:40, we were seated, pressured to order and our two rolls came out quickly. We communicated that we’d like to order more and we were told that last call had already occurred, the time was 9pm. We pointed out that the hours listed online said they were open till 9:30. It was acknowledged that the online times were correct, but nonetheless the kitchen was closed. The whole experience was disappointing and we will not be returning or recommending this restaurant.

Lunch here for the first time, April 2023. Our server was very helpful, the kitchen was somewhat slow. Good miso soup, likewise my Paradise roll. It was quite large and I couldn’t eat it all. Atmosphere is generic, but clean and comfortable.
