The Sushi was excellent and was served to us fast. We had the Philidelphia Roll and the Fresh White Crab Roll and they were absolutely delicious, so much so that I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a very expensive bite to eat. You’re getting 110% value for what you pay for.

The sushi selection was ok. Probably would have had only one selection of the tuna roll, which was the Volcano. Other two wasn’t as tasty.

Went with a friend, a young lady checked us in and told us she’d text us when our table was ready. She let in a few other people before us (despite them being in line after us), and told us we should sit next door at Summer Shack instead. No waiters came to us after 20 minutes, so I asked a waiter – thinking they forgot we were next door. He rudely said “we’re busy, you need to wait.” We waited another 30 minutes and no one offered us water or asked what we wanted to order. Me and my friend got so hungry we just decided to order food at Summer Shack, even though we were waiting for sushi. The lady who told us to sit at Summer Shack walked past us numerous times and avoided eye contact. She never checked up on us, despite sitting us away from the restaurant and telling us we would get our food soon. Very disappointed with the service and care here.

Excellent Resturant and some of the best sushi I have ever had (and I have had a lot). We went on monday to take advantage of their $5 maki Monday deal. The server was very kind, explained how the deal works (one alcoholic drink or appetizer per two people for the rolls). We sat by the bar and they even gave us some free snacks as we waited. The fish is all delicious and very fresh, and the clam chowder was perfectly seasoned! Would definetly recommend!

Decent food, but comes with the worst and slowest service at Mohegan Sun. Rude waiter, who refuses to acknowledge us at the door, and was inattentive on a slow night. If you’re planning to eat here, wait for when the waiter with the cornrows isn’t working. This guy worries about his ego, and gives no craps to customers.

I ran into Sushi Koya after a little bowling in Mohegan Sun. This is a small spot complaint with social distancing and masks requirements. The service was great! The sushi even better. I will definitely be returning.

Overall we had a great experience. We went midday on a Sunday, not very busy but waited a bit to be seated. Our food was wonderful and came quickly once ordered. We did wait a bit for the waiter to realize we were finished and needed our check but otherwise a good visit. Image below of the avocado roll (bottom right), shrimp tempura roll (bottom left), and the American Dream roll (top). The only off putting part of the sushi for me was that the tail was left on the shrimp in the tempura roll. This may be customary as I haven’t had this roll before but I did not expect it.

Best sushi I have ever had in Connecticut. Try the sushi pizza, it was amazing. Super creative and really nice folks. Highly recommend if you are at Mohegan.
