Small place. Awesome food. Don’t judge your order amount compared to other places, they give you a full 8 piece roll of sushi, have THE BEST Udon noodles, and everything except for the calamari. If they can get their calamari right, this place would probably be hands down the best sushi place I’ve been to overall in years.

I took my girlfriend here for a date and the server was amazing. Sweetest lady ever, and the service screamed passionate family owned buisiness. My girlfriend ordered a sprite and they only have cans, but instead of just a can she got a glass with ice and a straw with it. I appreciate little efforts like that especially in local buisiness. Food was great, fully recommend.

For the money, we think it is the best value in the area. We have tried multiple sushi restaurants in and around Kempsville. But always come back. Eat there 3-4 times a month. But don’t tell anybody. Lol

Sushi was SO fresh, I could smell it across the table. Hubby loved everything & wants to come back. I’m not big on sushi so I’m rating the appetizers I ate. It was ok. I didn’t like that my shrimp tempura roll was wrapped in seaweed and had lettuce in it. The calamari was chewy, over cooked. The beef was way over well done. The chicken was dry. Not a spot for me but hubby really enjoyed many plates of multiple kinds of sushi. All you can eat for $25.

Don’t let the outside fool you, this place is amazing! Very authentic food. I absolutely loved the vegetable tempura, Goyoza Dumplings and the chicken teriyaki. I do not like sushi, but my husband loved the sushi that he got. They had a lot of stuff in their sushi, not as much rice as a filler. If you like sushi King, you should try this place. Lunch is 1099 for all you can eat.

I like they have a lunch buffet though I ordered take out as I wasn’t prepared to sit and eat. I had the shrimp tempura bento. Miso soup was good for restaurant. And I find it was a good size for the price. Very tasty. The sumai was a little soft in texture. My daughter got gyosa, and sushi rolls. She said flavor was good.

Me and some of the guys from work came in. We saw it the other day driving through the parking lot we had the all you could eat lunch and it was great. I had a volcano roll and the tiger roll and a couple pieces of tuna. All our orders came back quickly even when it was a little busy will definitely be coming back the service was really good and if you wanted to you could sit up at the bar and watch all the sushi being made.
