And omg great and friendly staff !!! Answered and treated me like family, everything I ordered was outstanding !! Some of the best fish I’ve ever had in the us !! If your lucky enough to be waited on by Betty you will have it all she’s the nicest hostess/ waiter ice ever had in the USA !!!

5 stars for the person who took my order helping me still get delicious and flavorful rolls adjusted to gluten free. With a pretty severe gluten allergy I rarely have the option for anything but plain sashimi which is fine but sometimes I want a delicious roll with sauce. I’ve now gotten take out twice without a reaction. However like most of my favorite sushi places over the years it definitely gives off vibes that’s it not very clean and you’re gonna get food poisoning eventually and there being a dog inside today didn’t ease my fears. But will I keep eating here until something bad happens? Probably.

Decent all-you-can-eat sushi in downtown Santa Cruz. $32/person.

This is a new spot and I’m glad I made the 30 minute drive. This is the only place I found nearby that has an all you can eat selection. They have a good variety of rolls and I liked the downtown atmosphere. Melissa was my waitress and I had a very amicable conversation with her. The gentleman making the rolls greeted everyone coming in and the service is what you’d expect from a good place. My only wish is that I had this place where I live. One day I’ll come back.

Went for the first time and had their all-you-can-eat. Everything we got was so delicious. One thing I noticed was that the unagi was really good quality. The only thing I didn’t like was that the AYCE price was not advertised. We didn’t ask before sitting down and were surprised at how expensive it was when we got the check. It was about $35/person which is reasonable but I just don’t like how it was not stated ANYWHERE on their menu. The way they do AYCE is they have you order “rounds” from a sheet. They had the other person at my table and I ordering from the same sheet per round, you can only order one of each item per round. It was just kind of awkward, for example, we both wanted Salmon Skin hand rolls but we could only get one per round. I’d definitely go back but would probably request to get one order sheet per person instead of per table and hope they allow that.

Don’t go for all you can eat, they very clearly do not want you to eat more than one round of sushi. We were there for around 2 hours total, waiting for more than 30 minutes for our second round of sushi before we gave up and asked for the check. At times the restaurant was completely empty, max there were 3 other tables.
