The sushi was quite good, the service was great and the place had good ambiance. We showed up without reservations and that did lead to a hour+ wait, I wish the visibility on this was better but can’t blame restaurant for it. The drinks were priced reasonably too. Loved it.

Always been my favorite sushi joint. I love the servers! I’m always running my mouth instead of figuring out what to order and they are so good about giving me *sigh* extra time. The Shiso roll was exquisite with that zesty fresh leaf to seal it all together. Yum

I’ve eaten sushi in a lot of nice restaurants all over the United States, some of the best sushi I’ve had was right here at Sushi Q. It’s not expensive for sushi standards but it’s not cheap either, you get what you pay for and then some. Incredible food, incredible service.

Unique rolls. I would call it Hawaiian fusion. The handrolls ww had had shave macadamia nuts on it, different and great flavor. One roll was wrapped in Shiso leaf which I had not experienced previously either. We had two rolls and 2 handrolls and ate well for $45. Location is great as Nevada City centers around that area. Walking distance from court and open evenings.
