2 Salmon hand rolls are very small filled with one skinny slice of salmon for $9 each smh. The rest of our meal cut rolls was pretty good. I said to the head waitress/ supervisor that these hand rolls are very small for $9. She replied you’re the first person that ever thinks that. She rude and attitude. But, hey I’m back in Cali and me and the wifey got our sushi fix on great portion $6.50 ea and had two a piece. Wish I could’ve taken a pic of the rolls that Sushi Shiono served. But these pics are from Kishi sushi in cali.

Enjoyable dinner with plenty delicious options. Our server was very attentive and have a good knowledge of Japanese food. Everything was delicious and even better with a cold kirin. My favorite was de Ika and Natto which I don’t think is for everyone but on my taste it was very good, enough to make come back for more.

Everything we ate here was full of flavor and very well prepared and balanced. The sake sampler was the perfect way to try a few that we hadn’t had before. The yellow tail collar and miso cod were faves but the toro stole the show. Kind of a strange location but the food is well worth it.

Very basic sushi. We had plenty to eat but the quality wasn’t there. $38 for sushi deluxe. None of it fresh, by my estimation. They were pleasant enough. There’s a small outdoor patio where are you can have your dinner, indoor seating as well. Won’t be back.

A very average sushi place. They have inside and outside seating, in the evening outside is preferred. Sushi come with fresh fish, but they are not the best – taste is average. Rolls have tiny fish inside. The best is seafood salad though, highly recommend. The waiters are very good and polite and try to make your experience very good.

Very good place to have Japanese food! All was delicious. We had Furikake chicken as appetizer and rolls for main dish: Godzilla and Hawaiian volcano. We had ice cream tempura for dessert. Delicious!

Stumbled upon Sushi Shiono while in Kona and absolutely loved it! The food is fantastic! The service was superb! Everything was fresh and the presentations were excellent! Right when we finished our meal it started to rain. The owner went out of her way and went to the back and brought 3 large trash bags and cut it out to make it a poncho so we can get to our car. We will never forget and we will definitely return! Fantastic people, beautiful resturant!
