Been a customer for 3 years. My daughter loves this place and I think it’s just okay. Tonight I noticed a customer drinking from a water pitcher. I’m addition to that the manager walked around to every table except ours. When she walked past us she did it even look at us. She was more than friendly and accommodating to certain customers. I asked the waitress and the waitress who was surprised she never came to our table after visiting the other tables 2-3 times. I told her I noticed it the last three times but for my daughters sake I overlooked it. When my daughter asked me why “that lady never comes to our table mommy”. I had to make it a teachable moment and asked to speak with her. I told her that I noticed she didn’t stop at our table and I wanted to introduce myself as a customer of 3 years. Suddenly, there was a language barrier. I told her that we were nice life her preferred customers and frequent this business too often to be ignored. Again, language barrier. I told my daughter that despite how kind everyone else is, we won’t be returning since customers that look like us aren’t embraced like the preferred customers. Despite skin color, my money is green and I can spend my money elsewhere. My daughter learned a lot today because I had to explain and answer questions I shouldn’t have had to. All customers deserve the same respect.

Love this place. It’s our go-to spot when we are craving sushi. The staff is great, food is always fresh and the inside is quiet and never overly busy. It’s not your typical upscale, overpriced sushi spot. I always leave very happy!

The food and experience is amazing. I have been eating here every week for over 6 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is so incredibly welcoming and friendly. And the sushi is the freshest of any place I have ever tried.

It has been years since I have eaten at Sushi Tao. Wow, my husband and I were beyond impressed with the food. In addition the service was impeccable on a rather busy night. The shishito pepper appetizer was amazing, our salad and miso soup was on point and most of all the sushi rolls tasted fresh!!! Had a lot of flavor and was not dry at all. This will be our go to place when we want sushi. I highly recommend! ☺️

If you want the best and freshest sushi go to Sushi Tao! I live 20 mins away but always gladly make the drive almost weekly! The staff is extremely friendly and remembers my name and “usual” order. Love this place!

This was our second time here, and we were worried that it might be busy on a Saturday night – we were seated right away! The food came out quickly and it was absolutely fantastic. Favorite sushi spot around!

I’m so sad I can’t say what everyone else seems to say. My food was so gross, sloppy, and soggy. I first got the butter fly kiss which was falling apart and just looked very sloppy. I asked for a new fish, the Philadelphia roll, and it was falling about and The cream cheese was super warm. We got checked on once. It was all together a bad experience. (I really tried to like the roll with lemon, sauces, it just wouldn’t help)

Place is great! The food was so good! I started with the edamame for an app and got the udon noodle soup. Came packed with noodles, veggies, egg, and chicken. On the side it comes with two tempera shrimp. This is easily one of my favorite meals and this place might make it the best! Small cozy place for great food.
