So my first impression of this place was that it was fancy. The bar I set for the food was high, and let me tell you it delivered. I love the short ribs, and my favorite roll is the in-n-out so I highly recommend it. The only tiny criticism I may have is just the spot it’s at. I would like to see it bigger and have it’s own parking lot cause it deserves that. But anyways 10 out of 10 and will be always coming here for my sushi fix.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here in 2 years. Both the other times were 5 stars. But this time. I ordered the exact same thing, which is the Dragon, and this was the first time eel didn’t taste good. But everything else about this place is pretty wonderful. Their teriyaki chicken is perfectly charred and sweet. The size of sushi has changed or was just different this day.

Great sushi option if you’re craving sushi between 12-5 when most other sushi places are closed. I went here twice, ordered the same entreé, and enjoyed it both times, but I was confused because what they served was slightly different.

This to-go Salmon Don costs $30. What the heck is the owner thinking??? Is the restaurant insane? Only a few pieces of terrible quality Salmon on top of the rice in a small size bowl.

You wouldn’t expect to find good sushi in this particular strip mall location of Renton, but Sushi Today is pretty good. The fish is fresh, and the rice is tasty. I visited right after opening time, so the temperature of the fish was a tick off, but it was still very good.

One of the best hidden gems. We have been frequenting this spot for years now. It’s been really cool to see how much they have improved the interior design. But the fish has remained top quality and absolutely delicious. I really love a crispy rice roll with spicy tuna on top and find it hard to find a good one but sushi today makes the best. I also love their mix of mango and salmon in their double salmon roll. We couldn’t love this place more. The staff is kind and so friendly to our 1.5 year old. Annie the waitress always greets us by name and brings my daughter her own plate and fork and makeshift sippy cup. All the sushi chefs are always smiling and kind. This place is truly the best. And I’m a picky sushi person! 5 stars for sure

Great sushi in Renton. This place has a really great atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The service is just absolutely fantastic. Food does not take forever to come up. The quality of the food is superb. I’ve had multiple sushi rolls, sashimi, teriyaki, tempura and more. Everything has been very good. You are in South Renton, I highly recommend this place.

Highly recommend!!!! Don’t let the shopping center facade deter you from trying this place!! It was some gooood sushi here! You could tell the fish was fresh and never frozen! All of the rolls were nicely done and didn’t fall apart! Service was great! They checked on us all the time even though they were busy!
