Sushi was actually good as well as customer service. The waiter explained how the “All You Can Eat” works, but I believe there was miscommunication. I suggest that you eat a little at a time and continue to order more as you wish. If you have leftovers, well a good portion.. you have to pay a la carte for what’s left on the plate. They don’t believe in wasting food. I understand that point, but I just never been to a place like that. Now I know. Besides that, Sushi was good.. ‍♀️

Growing up in West Haven, Sushi X has been my go-to comfort food since I was a teen. I recently moved back to CT and have been delighted that my fav crazy girl and shrimp tempura with a diet coke still hits in that perfect way. After living in several states and trying all different sushi spots I’ll still always be biased towards sushi X. I don’t know first hand how their in-dining experience is nowadays but their takeout staff has been great. Will always recommend!

When you’re in between appointments and a craving hits you for Sushi….table for One Chef. Starting off with the most attentive service and ending with a flavorful meal with choices that make any customer crave. The establishment is well kept and an enjoyable quick stop. Don’t pass up an opportunity to enjoy the chefs and staff here they don’t disappoint!

The food was delicious, service was great. I removed 1 Star because the wait takes more then 30 minutes to get your food with 4 people working behind the counter. And 2 Star because they charge our little 4 years old boy $30 buffet price because he ate a couple bites of our food.

One of the only sushi places in Southern CT that still serves a Philly role with salmon, cream cheese, and avocado. Best all you can eat sushi around. Service is excellent. Comfy atmosphere. Prices have gone up recently, but still well worth it. Great kitchen menu as well.

Best All You Can Eat Sushi in CT IMHO for approximately $25 per person. You MUST order the beef BBQ. It is to die for. 110% finger licking good. Sashimi and sushi are great. I’ve been to the Palace and mediocre at least. Highly recommended.

I love this place. Very cool atmosphere and the food is great. Perfect if you want to have a kind of an adventure. So it’s all you can eat, when you sit down you will select the rolls you want and they will make them and bring them to you. It’s fun trying to guess which are which. Make sure you take a picture of the sheet otherwise you will not remember which one you ordered.
