Do not sell shrimp if you will not have the time to properly cleaned it. For most people is disgusting. Plus, do not take more customers if you are busy. We wait like 30 min for our appetizer and 20 more for our entry.

Hiden gem. I’ve been coming here’s for about a year. I usually sit by the sushi bar. I love to watch the chef work his magic. He is super attentive. The service is quick and he answers my every question. It doesn’t matter if you come with your partner or by yourself, it usually entertaining and delicious. Highly recommend the Nori Lover, my favorite dish. No rice, just crispy seaweed and perfectly marinated and dressed fresh tuna and salmon.

food is always excellent. sushi is super fresh. the shrimp soup is one of my favorites. they had a musician playing who was excellent. not overpowering so having conversation was easy. asian man who played pop tunes and sang. really enjoyed that on a weekend night. made our date night . my only 2 issues as i try to be real in my reviews were the service was terribly slow and our server disappeared for long stretches, other servers had to be flagged down. and the glass of wine was miniscule pour. 6 Oz. sorry but that was a definite minus. I actually watched the server use a measuring cup. really? this was for basically house wine. mistake. pour a nice glass . otherwise rock solid and we will go back it’s a go to for Sushi .

I don’t ever write reviews but felt this needs to be done to save anyone else the experience. Can’t rate the food or service since I never got it! Place wasn’t busy, ordered drinks and food, almost an hour later I had to ask the waitress only to find out they didn’t start making the food yet. Never a word from anyone they were running behind, just let us sit there waiting. Told her to cancel the order, asked for my check, paid for the drinks and left. No apologies from a manager, just let us walk out. Not a way to run a restaurant!

Sushi is average, nothing to blow you away as amazing. The pork dish I got was tough. The pork should have been razor thin sliced because it has no fat, so it gets chewy when thick. The guitar player is a nice touch. They are constantly under staffed in wait staff. Very nice people, just not enough of them.

We ordered to go to share with our friends and it took them almost an hour to make our food even though the restaurant was empty. The papaya salad was really good! The beef jerky and sushi we ordered were okay but it wouldn’t be something we ordered again in the future. We would be open to trying other dishes similar to the flavors of the papaya salad as that was extremely well executed.

Food was good, service was mediocre at best. One person requested a fork, which did not get delivered until we flagged down another waiter. Ordered a drink which also did not get delivered until I asked a 2nd time. 3 of 4 meals were delivered (after a lengthy wait). 4th meal did not come until several minutes later (while I watched the waitress bring items to other tables)
