Sushi Yama has a large menu, which works great if you’re bringing along someone who has dietary restrictions. If you don’t eat fish, if you’re a vegetarian, or on a special diet, you’ll find something delicious on the menu. The sushi here is fresh, and you can dine at the sushi counter where they prepare in sight. They serve wine, beer, and saki, and have a dessert menu. They offer lunch combo’s including a “build your own” bento box. The lunch prices are very reasonable.

We went there for the first time. I wanted my family to taste sushi and we wanted to try few different kinds of sushi. We tried shrimp and krab sushi roll and seafood teriyaki platter. The food was really good and I would love to go again. We loved the shrimp sushi roll specifically. The server was nice and polite.

I have been coming to sushi Yama for years, and this is hands down my favorite sushi restaurant. I always sit at the bar where they serve a complimentary small sushi appetizer, and the service is always quick. I have ordered almost everything off the menu at this point and I have never been disappointed. The sushi is always so fresh and fairly priced.

Food was tasteless and bad textures. Food did come out fast which was nice. Won’t be returning or recommending. Services wasn’t great no refills and waitress didn’t come back when we didn’t receive correct order. DONT get the avacado salad. It’s $4 more than a house salad for two pieces of an avacado. No value for your money here. Could have went to river house for a $45 lunch.
