$8 Teriyaki Bowls, $6 California Rolls!!! Kinda a flame boilers places with grilled meat bowls. Fish is fried filet style. You can add $ for veggies and avocado. Weekday Specials of buy 2 get 1 free deals (bowls to sushi) are even better!! Takes credit card. Small place with 1-2ppl seating for indoor and outdoor but this place is meant for to-go or catering orders. Can’t beat this price. Quality matches it so don’t come if you’re expecting more.

We would definitely go back for the chicken teriyaki plate. We enjoyed the charcoal flavor of the chicken, the teriyaki sauce is tasty and I appreciate the assortment of vegetables (I hope the vegetables the same). The beef could have been good, but the beef is way to tough to chew. The mango roll was disappointing. I expected to feel a great amount of sweet, citrus tang, but the flavor was lacking. The rice is also different, doesn’t taste like sushi rice. All in all I would definitely go back for the chicken teriyaki. The portions are big, so the plate can be shared. This is a great addition to the community.

Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, El 7 Mares is a delightful culinary oasis that serves up an impressive array of classic sushi rolls. As a sushi enthusiast, I was thrilled to discover this hidden gem, and it has quickly become one of my favorite sushi spots in the city.

Nice Spot! You wouldn’t know it from looking at it, and probably would pass by this Mexican run Japanese teriyaki spot. As a Japanese person, I’m impressed. The sushi rolls were fresh. The portions were generous, and the homemade jasmine tea was refreshing. I’d go back just for the tea. Very kind people. Highly recommend. I will say that we had a very large order and it took a little longer than expected since they only had 2 cooks. Even still, I took the time to review this new spot. worth going to.
