This place is an absolute tucked away gem in gilmer, spectacular personable service, unmatched atmosphere and a great line of extremely fresh tasting specialty sushi. My experience with our server was great as he made a specific point to ground me some wasabi as they had run out. The appetizer spring rolls were great and the sushi rolls was as good as it gets in restaurants of this style.

The avocado rolls look like something you get from Kroger’s for 5.99…. And they weren’t actually a roll. They were just slices. But the California roll was an actual roll and was delicious, as was the jalapeno chicken bowls…..And I mean really, REALLY delicious. The reason for the three stars is that I asked for extra extra soy sauce and I get home 15 minutes away and I don’t have one packet of soy sauce. And in my mind you have to have soy sauce for your sushi. Even if you didn’t ask for it it should be included. I called them about it and they were nice, but they didn’t offer any kind of compensation for the fact that I bought $56 worth of food and don’t have soy sauce, which is essential I believe. So don’t be like me and check your bag before you leave.
