Wat better than my university cafeteria. Their service and attention to food sensitivity and allergies than many restaurants I have seen. All you can eat of all varieties in a friendly clean environment. Meal plans are not economical, but eating with dining dollars makes way more affordable.

Nice place to eat on campus! There were quite a few options, but we could definitely use some more.

In comparisons with other university cafeterias I have visited Suwannee is the best. Food quality and cleanliness beat out other campuses. Decent selection of food choices with the standard pizza, burgers, deli, salad, soup dessert stations. They have a home cook, chef’s table and vegan stations that change their menu daily. The vibe and interior architecture is really cool. If you look up it a really nice wood arch ceilings that my kids describe as Hogwarts like. The staff is a mix bag. The front cashier’s are really friendly and chat up the students but the food staff are hit and miss in terms of service, quickness and personality. Overall, I like it and try to make this a stop at my visits to make sure we are getting out money’s worth for the kids. For $10 all you can eat it’s not a bad option especially if you have eaters!

I am currently a junior, and due to Covid, this will be my second year of buying a meal plan. Usually just freshman go here, but I like having an excuse to leave the apartment. The breakfast is decent and involves eggs, some sort of potato, biscuits, meat, and either pancakes or something similar. Lunch and dinner are much better. They always have a ton of options, and as a vegetarian, I’ve never gone hungry. Sometimes they screw up their salads or sandwiches (see salad picture).

It’s definitely a college dining hall, mostly freshmen and sophomores and a lot of on-campus residents. However, there are a lot of older students and staff members that eat there as well and you can also bring guests with you if you have guest passes on your FSU dining Plan or if they pay full price they can come eat with you at any time. So it’s not just a bunch of youngsters. The food is very well balanced, and they offer a complete allergen-free menu that is prepared in a separate part of the kitchen so they don’t accidentally mix it with any of the eight main known allergens. The desserts are good. The staff is fantastic. And if there’s something that you want that they don’t have, they accommodate you and are happy to make it for you within reason. I’m glad that I got a dining plan for at least one semester as a student at FSU. I am a mature student returning to college after 25 years out of school, but it’s super convenient to be able to eat on campus before or after classes or even on the weekends at specific places. Make sure you are clear on where you can use your FSU card because it is limited to restaurants that are on campus and you can’t use it at those same restaurants off of Campus. It is very pricey for convenience and, as always, convenience costs. All in all, it is a positive experience with a great student atmosphere and good balance meals. And I’m sure designed to make parents feel comfortable leaving their children at this college and going back home without them knowing that they are going to have decent meals while they are away from home and in school.

always out of nutritious food. After 6 pm they only serve pizza and whatever’s left like potatoes and pasta. There was a piece of aluminum foil in my brownie 2 days ago. Staff is rude. Meal plans are overpriced for how bad they are. It is embarrassing how much money this school has and still can’t serve edible food. Don’t get a meal plan unless you live on campus and you have to.

Variety of delicious choices at a very low price. Specially for FSU students it can be $6 per meal which is a great option!! They keep all delicious vegan, vegetarian and non-veg options!

I absolutely love Suwannee Room! Great food, the staff is awesome, and always pleasant. Make sure to try Ms. Sherry’s chicken salad! I am addicted to it. Also, visit Ms. Monica at the Chef ‘s table for breakfast and lunch! Thank you to the management team; always working hard.
