Let me tell you this was the ABSOLUTE WORST service I’ve received anywhere I’ve been. My family came in there with (six of us with a baby) and I get a call saying our table was ready. After we get seated the Hispanic woman (our waitress) says she’ll be taking our orders. She takes our drink orders and appetizers first. 10 minutes passes we still don’t have our drinks. Our appetizers come (before our drinks) out and I have to get up and walk over to her as she’s talking to co-workers and doing other stuff to say “Can we get our drinks please?” When she brings our drinks after 20 minutes of waiting she takes our orders and writes them down. 45 minutes goes by with no food we ordered. Nobody came to check on us and the group of five Caucasian women that came in 30 minutes after us had already be served their food and drinks. When the waitress finally brings sushi to the table she brings sushi NOBODY in my party ordered. We asked for a squid salad and she brings out a seaweed salad. In fact she brought twice in a row. I’m over here thinking “you wrote the orders down how do you not know what we ordered?”. She looks at us like she’s irritated with us because she kept bringing the wrong orders to the table. Keep in mind the 90 minutes we were in there waiting to eat nobody checked on our table other than the initial order. At 9:30 I got up and told them we were leaving because we were not pleased with the service and it’s been 90 minutes with no food after we ordered over an hour ago. They didn’t even offer to “comp” the drinks and appetizers, nobody inside apologized. None of the employees offered any type of accommodations for their actions. BEWARE before you go here and waste time/money because I’m telling you people that got there 30 minutes after us were eating and leaving while we were still waiting for our food. This was egregious behavior and terrible customer service on their part. If they can’t properly train their staff then they shouldn’t be operating as an open business. Absolutely disgusting display of customer service on their part!

Service was real friendly, rolls top notch, wife got the chicken udon noodle soup (was kinda surprised to see that they also put crab meat in it, and it’s not listed on the menu). Sweet heart roll, incredible roll, and rattle snake roll are all great.

Decent food but service was a bit slow. Don’t sit by the front door when it’s cold. They forgot the soup/salad that came with my meal as they seemed a bit flustered or short staffed.

Average place. Interesting experience; we ordered two Miso soup with the appetizer. As we ordered the entrees, as they came with miso soup, we asked if the same can be substituted and they said they can’t as the order was already placed (had double miso for sure!). Never had such an experience. Then, the salmon teriyaki entree came with salmon less than half cooked (could see the liquidy parts inside when we tried to cut up the fish). Showed it to the server; she apologized and took it back. In less than 5 minutes, the same plate came back! Now with a more cooked but ‘unchanged’ parts of the fish and the other items which were on the plate. Will not go back there due to less than professional customer service (possibly not done intentionally but I am a neatness freak and what happened with the salmon turned me off)

This place has been my go to sushi place for the past few years. Service is always fast and the staff is always pleasant to interact with. They have a HUGE menu of all different kinds of rolls for whatever flavors you’re in the mood for. I personally love the soft shell crab fried rice. I could literally eat that everyday if I could. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for good sushi.

We love the food here. It’s kind of crowded on weekends but where is it not? The food is great. The wait staff can be very pulled because of the lack of waitstaff but they seem to work very hard to keep up with their tables. Only downfall is they need to offer iced tea. We’re in Texas. It’s a must.
