I love this place. Great food with the best flavor. They are very kind and professional. I’m a commercial driver and stop at this place every time I get a chance going threw here. My family and I even drove here on my off day just to enjoy the amazing food and friendly conversations with these kind folks.

As a person that lives in Austin, TX, with its many options for tacos, I find this place to be a hidden gem in Giddings, TX. The five mini pastor tacos were filled to the max, and the half-chicken quesadilla was excellently done! Their red and green sauce were packed with flavors as their pastor meat. We only spent $18 for two well-portion sizes of food—also, the excellent and friendly service.

To say what my visit here was a pleasurable one would surely be an understatement. I arrived about 45 minutes for close and it was rather slow… Which might account for some of the one-on-one attention that I got, but it was unforgettable. I asked them what they were most proud of and they made for me a platter of five of their tacos… Two of them chorizo and two of them birria and the fifth… I don’t recall because I devoured it so quickly. However, this is also after the fact that they gave me a chorizo taco just for waiting. There was this great sense of family pride and I really translated into their execution of their food. It was absolutely delectable and they homemade all of their tortillas which really accentuated the authenticity of these tacos. I am an out of towner and would recommend this even if it was out of the way for you.

Wow! Delicioso! Got 8 carne guisada tacos to split with my husband. (meat stew in tortillas) Everything was homemade and delicious. The corn tortillas had just been freshly made. The stew was so good with a tasty gravy. Both the red(spicy) and green(mild) salsas were awesome. This is a special and unique taco joint. We’ll definitely be back when we’re driving through again.

My fiancé and I were in town for the Sherwood Faire. We stayed at a hotel in Giddings next door to Suzy’s. I was debating between trying this place and some other Mexican restaurants. We were completely and totally blown away by this place. Their “tacos” are massive. Their mini tacos to die for. They also had menudo that morning. You drive up and it’s a total hole in the wall place with picnic tables in front. The staff was so nice. I asked for some extra napkins and one of the lady’s who helped us said, “Just reach in and grab them, it’s ok it’s like your house.” It was just so sweet. My fiancé, Pops & myself just absolutely loved the food. Some other out of towners showed up and we just sat raving about it. My fiancé and I literally have no reason to come back to Giddings but have talked about coming back simply to eat here & Rebas lizzs again. Don’t go to the bigger Mexican restaurants … go here. You won’t regret it! 🙂

Prices are what they are. Plan on $10 to 15 for normal people. Or 5 to 7 for light eaters. But!!!! The food is really good. Good portions. Spicy salsa is just hot enough to be spicy.
