I loved their garden salad and shrimp Marsala. Their salad had a hint of cilantro, and the taste of their Marsala sauce was one of the best that I had so far. I liked how I could still see and distinguish the ingredients in the sauce, which created a wonderful blend of flavors in each bite. Their basmati rice was cooked to perfection. Their lentil soup and chicken dish was great too. The waiters were very friendly. Highly recommend Swagat for anyone who would like to try Indian food. I definitely will return to try more dishes.

I recently visited this restaurant with a friend to celebrate his birthday, our experience was delightful. From the moment we stepped in, the customer service was excellent, and it made our evening even more enjoyable.

Delicious lamb vindaloo. I find the spice level can alternate depending on the day but when it’s hot it’s hot. The curry is bright and flavorful. The service is great and the food comes out quickly.

The spices and flavors speak to some authentic Indian cuisine. The best part of this small place is their combo meals which are fantastic for the price (appetizer, main). We were in a party of three. The place itself is small and you can miss it walking by, but it’s definitely worth a stop. Good quality and thoughtful presentation

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pretty. I had samosas, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and a mango lassi. It was all great, I will be back.

I have dined at several Indian restaurants all around the world but this is the first restaurant which does not serve raita with any kind biryani. This is ok the only restaurant that offers one ride with two entree orders!? Also, Samosa chat comes with a microwave heated samosa drowned in cold salsa straight out of the freezer. If you are 5 or more they will automatically add 20% gratuity regardless of whether you like the food or service. Check your bill to be sure. The chana masala and biryani were good. The poor I though is more like a naan than like a poori. The Saravana Bhavan next door is a much better option , especially for vegetarians.

First things first, their naan is one of the best naans from NYC. So soft that it just melted in the mouth. The masala & marinade used for Mutton boti kebab made it quite delicious; but it could have been more softer, would taste best. Curries were a little tangier than required but still were pretty solid. Gobi manchurian and Samosa chat was average. Also, one rice portion served for 2 curries. Pricey comapred to the quantity served. Good service.

One of the worst indian restaurants in the city. Their gravy tasted like canned tomato sauce, their service was bad. And when we complained about the quality of the food the staff refused to do anything about it.

Great place! Food was fast, hot and fresh. Spice levels were good and you had options. There were a few items on the menu that were meh (chicken Mangowala & Keema Naan) but others were delicious (garlic naan, Raita, Mango Chutney, 2 veg dishes). I would definitely come back.
