We had a very late lunch, so we were essentially the only ones in the restaurant. The place is your typical small town diner, so you should not expect top of the line meals. Having said that, food and service were good. I had the scallops, my wife the salad. We were glad Winchester had a place to go and eat. We enjoyed eating there, would go back.

I’ve eaten here three times. The first two were great, but the most recent one was “eh.” I ordered ravioli and chicken, and upon biting into a piece of the chicken I discovered that it was essentially undercooked and therefore unconsumable. The rest of my ravioli chicken dish was soaked in oil and smelled what can only be described as “funky,” which I am disappointed in.

Ordered the steak and eggs, medium rare. Served it to me well done. Didn’t come back to check on it so I couldn’t tell them about the mistake, nor did they even stop by to refill my coffee during my meal. Then, they had the balls to tack a “customer service fee” on my check.

I’d rather not eat than come back to this diner. Came at 10am for a late breakfast. Ordered steak tips and a Belgian waffle – food was shockingly bland. Very thankful they provided salt, pepper, and syrup at the table. The waitress was inattentive after serving the food. Need a napkin or drink refill? Good luck. Didn’t hear a word from her after asking what type of toast I wanted.

I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was very tasty. The waitress was very nice and attentive. It was only one other party in the restaurant when we went. The inside is very cozy and has a nice warm feel to it. There’s parking on the street.

I have been here before and got some terrible steak tips but decided to give them another chance. I also found out that they have parking behind the restaurant. Today I had the lunch Vinegar Pepper Pork Chop. This was a good sized chop on the bone that was cooked nicely and well seasoned. The potatoes was roasted nicely but a tad overcooked. The crispy peppers were appropriately vinegary. I was very happy with my lunch today.
