We had the pleasure of eating breakfast at Sweet Addie’s Waffle Shop the other week before heading home from visiting family in the area. Loved everything about this little place from the great waffles and amazing toppings. Atmosphere and friendly staff make this a wonderful place to have a family breakfast or morning meeting with a client. 5 stars all around!!!!!

A must try spot when in downtown Staunton! Recently opened but they sure have great quality and service down to a science! Ordering was quite easy and simple and staff friendly and helpful explaining the options. The waffles smell amazing from the time you enter the building, and they taste just as great! Flavor is an immediate sign that quality and craftsmanship are premium, and the freshness is on point. A great treat anytime of day perfect for anyone! Highly recommend!

The cannoli waffle fell a little short for me. I didn’t think there was enough of the cream “filling” and the waffle texture was not my favorite. BUT, the savory waffles are the best. I am obsessed with the Plain Jane, the fluffy warm waffles is delicious. The fried chicken??? So good and fresh and the syrup is amazing. My mom also loves the it’s all gravy. The store is always clean and open and airy but I do really wish they would get more than one high chair. The one they had was taken so I had to try and keep my one year old in a regular chair which was difficult to say the least, so it didn’t feel as welcoming for young children. Otherwise, it’s a good experience and good food.

Stopped by on a whim and loved the environment! It’s a super cute store, clean and well decorated- I particularly liked the giant neon ‘Waffles’ sign. I got the Elvis Waffle and loved it, tasted amazing and the presentation was so fancy. Staff is very friendly as well.

If you like waffles and a cosy atmosphere I highly recommend this place! I ordered Addies Fav and my sister ordered Queen City Sparkle. Fresh toppings artistically placed on-top the waffles! Sweet but very balanced, the waffle had its own unique batter and even the whip cream was very light and airy to enjoy. Very affordable prices! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, I felt at ease there eating.

My wife and I ate here for lunch. I got the chicken and waffles with gravy and my wife a half waffle with fresh peach slices. We both agreed that although we thought the waffles were a little on the heavy side and not as light and fluffy as we were used to, we did find it very tasty although a little on the pricey side as well, at over $30 plus tip.The owner was very personable and friendly
