My family and I stopped by for a quick meal, thinking we could be in and out in 30 minutes and continue on our way, but it took about 45 minutes to get our food, which is hard to understand given that the place wasn’t busy and their menu is simple cafe food.

Stopped here for ice cream after a long hike. The shop was closed for inside seating but you could order from the window. The prices for ice cream were not listed and we had to ask about the type of cones. We paid $7 for two different flavors in a cup – a little pricy but the scoops were big and the ice cream was tasty. The person that took our order was nice but he seemed slightly perturbed – maybe because his help did not show up? Also, the spoons we got were flimsy and sharp on the edges. Flip it over so you don’t cut your lips!

3 stars, for exceptional service. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Large menu with a lot of variety. We ordered two sandwiches and were disappointed in the quality and taste of both. I would go back to try the homemade ice cream but probably won’t be having lunch here again. The basil lemonade was the highlight of the meal.

On whim we decided to go Stroudsburg and a popular travel site listed Sweet Creams as a popular choice, so glad we took the advice. It’s a small homey cafe with great sandwiches and tasty soups. A great spot for lunch or to get coffee and some ice cream. Highly recommended.
