Run, don’t walk to this amazing cafe! While in the area, my daughter and I checked the reviews on this restaurant and the positive reviews were through the roof! We decided to give it a try, and let me tell you that was a very good decision. After browsing the menu with lots of options, especially gluten free options, we decided on two gluten free sandwiches that were available in many different unique combinations (other non-gluten free options available too). Just looking at these fluffy sandwiches made our mouths water, and they tasted just as delicious! The owner/chef was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and prepared our food very carefully. I would definitely recommend this cute local cafe, you won’t regret it! (Plenty of parking in the back and outdoor seating out front)

Wonderful lunch. On a Monday no less. Quite a treat to find an American Cafe with deli type foods open on a Monday. The tuna melt was great but the homemade chips were heavenly, light as air.

Renee of Sweet & Salty catered our Celebration of Life for my mum, JoAnne Barrett Blood (a longtime local teacher), at the St. John’s Hall in Townsend for about 60ish people. The food was perfect, on point, delicious, well served – a selection of creative sandwiches, including vegetarian options, on delicious bread (Renee roasts her own meats). Plus the classic finger rolls that everyone expects, 3 fabulous salads and some amazing desserts – some regular, some gluten free. She truly went above and beyond to deliver a gluten free grain bowl for my daughter. Set up, clean up and serving was all impeccable and seamless. She provided all the paper goods and a young helper to clear and serve. If you can get Renee for your event, I highly recommend her service and food. She is very easy to work with. I can’t believe I didn’t take any photos of the spread!

Superior gluten free bread for my grilled sandwich. It is soft and crispy, not thick and gummy like g-free bread usually is! Highly recommend! Our salad was fresh and the chips were great, too.

Had lunch last week and had one of their rice bowls. It was delicious with chopped grilled garden fresh vegetables. Mmmm boy did it hit the spot. It had a light sauce on it that really compliments it. My friend had a burger. I know she enjoyed it because she didn’t speak two words the whole time. So not like her! This is a MUST TRY FOR SURE! The young people WILL LOVE THE BURGERS!!! Great looking Salads… I’m a veggie lover so I will try a salad next! This place is a GEM.
