We went on Fathers Day so they had shortened the menu to only the brunch menu. They were also very short on staff. In spite of all this we had a very good experience. The food was great! They have an extensive beer and drink menu. And they had games going on all over the restaurant, but, it wasn’t loud. Talking was easy to hear and it was definitely kid friendly. I would definitely recommend Sweet Old Bills.

I had a great experience eating here. This was my first time. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend eating here. We tried several different items off the menu to see how they were. It was all good. Thumbs up.

I got the pulled pork which is pretty good. The sides are good, but the salt on the sweet potato fries was uneven.

First off I was feeding my 5 month old the mashed sweet potatoes, at one point I tried to stir them and noticed something large and hard hit my fork, as I lifted it up it was a very large piece of glass or hard plastic, I was absolutely mortified thinking about smaller pieces maybe making their way into the sweet potatoes, manager gave us a gift card and said sorry after acknowledging that it was a infact piece of their cookware/dishes in the back like I was lieing?, but a freebie is not worth my child’s life, my husband lost his appetite and said we weren’t coming back anymore, the food was also over cooked especially the brisket and ribs anyways, I hate it because the first visit we had was great and this time was the last, manager said all he could do was say sorry, it wasn’t the fact of what you can do it was the fact that the concern seemed somewhat blown over and lacking.

First time having tomato pie and it was great!! BBQ brisket was average. Chicken with Alabama white sauce was good. Mac and cheese was awful.

Found this little hole in the wall in high point area. Food was great and service was fast. No complaints about either. Had no problem finding the picky kids something. Couldn’t finish the massive sandwich, but to me thats a good thing lol.

Approaching the building, I was drawn in by the aroma of smoked meat…yum! Unfortunately, the meat doesn’t have anything going for it other than the aroma. The chicken was tasteless, the baked beans were mushy; the slaw seemed to be cabbage and mayo… nothing else. The hush puppies taste frozen. The BBQ sauce, apparently only one kind, is a poor poor representation in view of the fact that this part of NC is supposed to be the hub of quality BBQ! Our server, though nice, acted indifferent and really seemed “put out” by my questions regarding the menu items and his personal opinion. He only returned once to our table, when it was time for the check. This will not be a return trip restaurant!

We ate here for the first time today (late lunch 2:00-2:30). The place was almost full. A bit pricey for lunch but we had a coupon so that helped. I had the “Cowboy” (chopped brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries), my wife had the “Everfesh salad” (spinach, sliced apple, fried feta) with grilled chicken. The food was spectacular. Waitress was very good- she checked by multiple times, brought drink refills without being asked, and was knowledgeable regarding the coupon/discount with no hesitation.

I had a pimento cheese burger and my wife had the spinach salad with grilled salmon. Everything tasted great. My burger was a bit overcooked. Otherwise I have no complaints.

We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night. Parking was adequate and we were seated right away. We chose to dine outside at the picnic tables.
