They gave us a printed sheet saying 1/2 rack of ribs, with 2 sides. I was informed they didn’t have ribs. Received a menu again, ordered the pork sandwich with fries, & baked beans. Next my food came out wrong, just a piece of toast & “pork”..Waitress knew immediately, I’m not happy. Our waitress says, “she just needs a bun, so I wait again. The bun was toasted which made it hard, the pork very lacking in flavor, & the 3 sauces, had no flavor either. Fries, not golden brown, but pale, & only tasted of grease, no matter how much salt I added, didn’t improve the fries. Their “baked beans” terrible, smallest pinto beans I’ve ever seen, served in a tiny dish, with peppers and onion, no barbecue taste & definitely NOT BAKED! BAKED BEANS R NOT SLOPPY, JUICY, OR GLUPY. The mgr removed my charge, my husband enjoyed his meal, & was ready to pay ,the owner didn’t charge my husband either. Which is above & beyond, I appreciated that. I give 2 stars for the staff, they did great, but even great staff can’t cover bad food.

Food was very good and seasoned perfectly but our fried green tomatoes were soaked in grease. Our original waitress brought our food out and never came back then a new waitress came by and gave us our check didn’t even ask if we needed anything which sucks because we were wanting desert. The servers need to work on their customer service.

Food way, way over priced and has really went down in quality from what they was when first open. People that works there are snobby and act like they hate their job. I won’t be going back. They just barely got two stars from me because it’s not the worst food around but close to it. Meat and 3 would have to be exceptional to be worth over 10$ a plate and this food was far from exceptional.

Old fashioned Southern look and clean. Staff attentive. Food came out hot and fresh. We did the meat and 3 thing. Everyone enjoyed there food that obviously did not come from a box. Someone at our table got the chocolate cake that looked mundane, but you will change your mind after you taste it!

Establishment has changed hands more times than i can recall. This owner may stick. Barbecue isnt the best ever, but sauces are fantastic! Meat and three options are nice to have in addition to regular menu options. Occasionally we have experienced cold dishes. Service is good, and prices are semi reasonable.
