Customer service wasn’t that good, mostly short & barely audible answers (busy street in front). The employee wasn’t rude, just not helpful. Our brisket (2 orders for 2 people) had a lot of fat & not meat (seriously). The sauce was good. Very disappointed! Very overpriced for the amount of food. We wanted to try this BBQ eatery since there were positive remarks, not sure if we came on the wrong day or what….

The owner was extremely kind and generous!! I told him when he 1st asked for my order that it was my 1st time eating there and that it is my birthday. Without hesitation he offered to DOUBLE my order. The food was so delicious and we will be going back again! Thank you so much for your generosity on my special day. Great brisket and sweet potato fries. Waited less than 10 minutes. Prices within reason, and friendly service. The atmosphere was exactly as the photos led us to expect with clean picnic tables outside in the shade. Don’t come if you want silver and China plates. Come if you want smack-yo-mama good bbq and sides.

Could have had the same experience if I had taken a lighter and held it to 70 dollars. Have gone to this place at the very least 10 times. Twice has the food been exceptional, the other 8 it was inedible but my family and I powered through because of the amount of money we had spent. Never again. Barbecue place out of barbecue sauce, mixing water with what sauce they have left, slathering it on BURNT BURNT ribs to create a nice ash paste, all while using week old oil for fries. I know the owner is working hard and trying to make things happen, and I hate to have to post this. Hopefully these words might act as motivation and other’s won’t have to share in my experience.

Excellent Southern style BBQ. This gentleman started out with roadside carts and now has a permanent location. The sauce is sweet, the smoke flavor is through out the meat, the balance reminds me of the Carolina non-vinegar bbq. The portions are large. The food is deeply flavored, the baked beans have a sweet flavor with curry. I think other have criticized them for this, those people should probably stick with KFC for take out. Home style Mac and cheese is definite side. They are about to open a second location, I just hope they have better customer service there.

The food is off the chain delicious. The Collard greens are amazing. The Brisket is smoked to perfection. The cornbread is made the way it should be. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that likes smoked food!!!

Absolutely AMAZING. I always get pulled chicken sandwiches at bbq places and this is by far the best I’ve ever had. My husband said the same about his pulled pork sandwich. Seriously, though. We’ve eating bbq all across the country and this place is top notch. Oh, and the Mac and Cheese…. Y’ALL. It was heavenly. 10/10 definitely going back. Great service, priced for the quality, and delicious.
