Just’My Opinion
The food is amazing. The portions are very small for the price. They give you 19 lbs of rice and enough meat for a toddler for $20. I paid $5 extra for a side of plantains, I wish I went to the store to buy it myself, it was 3 slices . In no way Am I bashing this place. I just think whoever owns this place better find a way to satisfy their customers. If meat is that expensive buy it from a wholesale. If something don’t change I won’t be a customer for long. I’ll definitely miss the food.

Went there unexpectedly late night like 3am and had some of the best curried goat I’ve ever had. Spice and texture was perfect, jollof was on point, and plantains to cap it off. Heading back there now for that oxtail

The food here is good tasting and it’s very convenient because of how long it stays open but I immideatly got scammed. I paid $30 for oxtail and jollof rice when the posted price was $24. It has potential to be great but they need to be more honest with their customers.

I used to go to this place back when it was only a food truck, I miss that. Now every time that I come to the storefront in silver spring there is never enough food left and the workers there aren’t that friendly or are very nonchalant. I’ve come here multiple times, driving from Baltimore city just to get cassava leaf and every time I come theres never any left recently I came and it was only like 3 or 4 pm and they were already out of cassava(mind you they close at like 9 or 10)!I think a bigger batch or multiple batches need to be made because that’s ridiculous. Whenever I decide to come back here again, I will need to call ahead first to make sure there’s any cassava leaf left before making that drive. But other than all of that, the food is always delicious when I’m able to get it, that’s why I still gave four stars.
