Listen up here foodies. I popped in here for the very first time for dessert. I had the Dutch Apple Pie, and took it up another notch and went A-La Mode. Ice cold vanilla ice-cream making contact with a nice portioned slice of the apple pie was heavenly! Check this out…this is just not only a dessert place…breakfast is served, ALL DAY!!! They have amazing sandwiches, salads, and a myriad of entree choices for lunch. Open at 7am and they close at 3pm. I will circle back here once I stop in for lunch. Foodie tip…get the coffee with your dessert. Cup of Joe was hot and fresh.

Good food, very nice owners, cozy dining area. Really enjoyed the flavor of my omelet. It was filled with sausage, ham and vegetables with sliced potatoes. The dish is served with salsa and ketchup on the side.

Heard good things about this place and decided to try for myself. The ‘good things’ are not an exaggeration. The food was really good. Ordered pancakes, bacon and potatoes to-go. The pancakes were fluffy and warm, the syrup really complimented the taste. The bacon slices were a good size and crispy. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I wish I could have dined in for my first experience but now I have more than one reason to visit again.

Been away from the valley for three months and this was the first restaurant I went to and my first time. I’m so glad I went, the food was SO GOOD, definitely made me feel glad to be home. Beautiful family owned spot whipping up fresh desserts and home cooked meals. Quiche was a childhood memory of perfectly baked goodness. The biscuits and gravy was yummy just a tad bit salty for my palate. The boys devoured their waffles and the homemade cake they brought to our table. This hidden gem is a must try if anywhere near the rio grand valley area

Our first time here and I can confidently say the previous reviews are true. Great service, great food, great prices. Probably the best restaurant in McAllen. We all had the breakfast items and they were delicious – great pancakes are hard to come by, but they delivered there too! Owner did come and welcome us and chatted like we were long-time patrons. Happy we found this hidden gem!
