Awesome place! You can create any kind of sushi roll or bowl that you can think of. There’s a wall of ideas previous customers came up with. I tried the “Qiana.” Very yummy and it’s a local family run type establishment. I would definitely recommend eating here, but most likely do take out. It’s not a large place and It’s too bad it’s not in a more noticeable location. I drove by that building a few times and never saw it before. I’m glad I saw it this time though. Happy experience!

The food here was fantastic and a great value! The poke bowl was absolutely packed with flavor and it had the perfect amount of heat. The shop/restaurant was small and unassuming, which is an additional bonus to me. Fresh, affordable, and delicious. Highly recommended!

Amazing find on Hilo. Poke Nachos and Poke bowl is what we ordered. As we entered a local says immediately “you came to the best place on the island for sushi. I won’t go anywhere else. Order anything you won’t be disappointed.” Well no we sure were not. The sushi chef and her niece were so sweet offering suggestions, samples of lemonade and freeze dried ice cream. Food to die for.

Terrible customer service!! Menu did not reflect extra charges for certain seafood items and extra toppings and sauce. All sauces were charged extra 50 cents. To top it off, we also found a hair in the poke bowl…and chef was rude about remaking the bowl. Did not walk away happy at all

Another “food adventure”…this time, my husband and I were craving sushi so, I googled sushi places in Hilo and found THIS place. It’s located between Ken’s pancake house AND a bookstore. It only has FRONT parking because the back parking is for Ken’s. They REALLY WANT YOU TO order online before coming down or you can just order out front like we did. They have all the menus and specials taped to the window along with signs for hand sanitizing, staying 6 feet away, make your order and then, wait in your car. We were greeted by one lady, SUPER nice with purple hair which, I ABSOLUTELY loved! (my fav color too )

Sweet Thunder Products serves up fresh poke with a wide variety of local add-ins and sides. Their service was provided by three generations of the family, and appears to be operate on a daily basis by an all-women staff. We really appreciated their service, and their quality of fish was incredible – highly recommend!
