Ordered a harvest bowl for delivery. It’s one of the most popular menu items at Sweetgreen. Bowl arrived cold (supposed to be warm, at least the rice) and missing chicken. How can you mess up the most common order?

I really liked my first two experiences here, but it has unfortunately gone downhill. Wilted and brown lettuce, skimpy toppings, consistently out of items, and employees— while friendly— don’t seem to be effectively managed as they always appear confused and overwhelmed. Takes much too long to even get anyone to look in your direction when the place isn’t even busy — unfortunately had to walk out and will not return.

I am echoing a previous post about the loud mouth woman yelling at the employees. I think she is a manager, kind of short, stocky, about 40, dark hair. She was very obnoxious and created a highly chaotic atmosphere. The young people taking our orders could not even hear us over her yelling, and we could not hear what they were asking us. Then while I was being rung up at the register, she starts barking orders at the employees and the clerk had to void my order and re-do it because of the manager’s interruption. I never have experienced a chaotic environment like this at the Greenwich location.

My first experience at a Sweetgreen was anything but sweet. This location states it is open until 9pm – walked in at 7:30pm and decided to order the Chipotle Chicken Bowl. The bowl gets almost completely made when the employee whispers to us that there is no more blackened chicken for the night – we offered to wait for more but they said the kitchen is closed for the night already. So bland roasted chicken was the only option, we reluctantly agreed. Then, I asked for avocado… no avocado left. Then, they started packing up the order without the chipotle salsa. We asked for the salsa and they said they were out. Now we have a hodgepodge mess of a bowl we don’t even want and won’t taste good. The staff were running around like chickens with their heads cut off completely drowning with online orders and a line of people. There was also a woman (also an employee) who was being extremely rude to the other employees bossing them around loudly. We walked out without any food tonight. Such a bummer as we were very excited to try it.

Let’s start off by saying the food was amazing. The reason for the two star review is because I was just about finished with my Ranchy chicken and rice And I found a hair that wasn’t mine. The employees did very little they refund my money, but I feel as if something else should have been done because I literally was eating food with someone else’s hair in it. If I didn’t look down at my food, I would have ingested someone else’s hair.

I’ve dined here (inside & takeout) four times and been disappointed each time. The warm “bowls” are nasty… the Chipotle Chicken and Sweet Chicken, basically a bad version of Chipotle’s menu. Buffalo Chicken salad also disappointing. I want to cut them some slack, being new… but it’s not the staff (they’re great), it’s the menu. Sorry guys: I’m not coming back.

Of the 2 times I’ve ordered from this location (using the mobile app), 100% of my orders have been WRONG! I’m glad I am used to checking my bowls when ordering from SG because they were all missing toppings. If you go to this location, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE!
