we tried this place out last weekend and really enjoyed this place. we arrived around 545p and sat outside with no wait. it was Kentucky derby day so they were wearing fun hats and unique drinks. i ordered some sort of mint whiskey drink. we ordered wings and both agreed they were some of the best wings we’ve had in a while! she got the steak which was amazing! i got the fish and chips. it was pretty good the breading wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was still pretty good. overall great food and service definitely will be back!

Great restaurant along the Illinois River. We ordered the Crab &Chutney appetizer, harvest salad, Buffalo boneless wings, nashville tiki style chicken, banana bread beer, and blackberry martini. For the price, I feel the portions are alone smaller than most restaurants. The harvest salad was great. The boneless wings were not so good. The Nashville tiki style chicken sandwich was great.

What a fun place on the river. Food was awesome and service couldn’t have been better. Just an enjoyable meal!! (The AC could have been cooler) They have bar seating, dining room, and outdoor seating….so, choose your place to enjoy and watch the river/lake.

I highly recommend trying this place out. The cheese curds were the best we have had. We also ate the Rasta Pasta and French Onion Burger w/Fries. All of the food eas delicious. The view of the river is beautiful and the staff is friendly.

I don’t give many places five stars but this one was very good Burger was really good everything we had was good The truffles at the end are expensive $9 for three but you can split them. And you do have a view of the river if you said outside or at an outside window they do have outside seating.

It’s a Beautiful place on the River, the staff was friendly and kind. The food was amazing and I do not have one bad thing to say about Sweetwater. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a great place to eat and have amazing water views!

We had lunch her for the first time yesterday. Great atmosphere but the lunch offerings have to be expanded. No choices! I ordered Tenderloin with fries the sandwich was very good but the fries were a small portion,cold,and soggy the waitress brown me a other order better but too small. My wife had Fish and chips the Fish was excellent perfectly cooked and bluegill to boot! Nice chance of pace from Cod,nice touch! Expended the menu and go with lunch everyday you are opened! The weather is on you side,use it! We will try again the Ocean view and the whale watching sure helps!
