Delicious fresh donuts. Okay coffee. Be warned: No longer sells sandwiches even though the name of the establishment is “S’wiches Coffee & Donuts”. They also need to update this Google Map listing. Staff also looked at me blankly and didn’t understand why I was asking about their sandwiches. “No, JUST coffee and donuts. We don’t do sandwiches.”

It’s so good to have an alternative to the industrial donut complex known by the initials DD. The french cruellers here are just out of this world – so light and fluffy! We got 14 donuts (couldn’t stop at 12!) for just under $13. Worth every penny! In CA, where the DD menace hasn’t yet spread, there’s a mom and pop donut shop on every block, it seems, and the quality is excellent. For those living near this Berlin, CT gem, you are lucky!

Much better than Dunkin!! Both the coffee and especially the service. Unlike Dunkin, the staff here treat one like a true customer…not like they’re doing you a favor by “waiting” on you. I’ve heard the doughnuts are better, too!
