You’re either a locals/hotel guest bar or decent restaurant looking for new customers and after looking at the menu I had hoped for the later. The menu looked decent including a prime rib special for Saturday night. I had high hopes that were instantly dashed when my drink arrived in plastic and the table behind me continually dropped f-bombs while describing their servers’ and his female companions anatomy. If I wanted to hear that I would have gone to country dive bar. Overall, it’s loud and more bar like than I had hoped. The food was okay; medium rare was medium well, sprouts were just alright, salad bar was decent. Our server was attentive and the prices were in line with what we got. Probably won’t go back and I hope the hotel and rude locals support the business.

This was our first visit since the place had changed hands. Absolutely amazing food and service. Everyone working there really cared about the customers. The salad bar was kept well stocked and clean. I can’t tell you how many times someone cleaned up any minute spill . Can’t wait to go back!

Had dinner at the Swing Bridge Pub whild traveling through Lacresent and it was the best part of our stop. Sat at the bar because the restaurant was full and the bar provided a bit quieter atmosphere. Our bartender/waiter, Cooper, was great. Very attentive and provided samples of some of the on-tap brews so I could make an informed selection.

Passing through on my way home to New England from the Mayo clinic. I discovered this place by accident and it was a happy happy accident. Extraordinary food. You had a lunch special featuring a prime rib sandwich on a hoagie bun with cheese with fries. For an additional $3 I had the best fresh salad bar with many choices including chocolate pudding for dessert. This would have been $70 for this meal back home in the tourist area where I live. I want to definitely recommend this place and tell you that the superb service the I received from Sarah must be noted. I had a very very hard day yesterday and night last night because of treatment and this just has renewed my spirit today. God is good and always provides and I am so grateful for Sarah’s hospitality. You all have a beautiful community and I believe it is accentuated by this very hospitable location.

Had some nachos and a beer after hiking on the trails next to the restaurant. The sauce on the nachos were a little heavier than my taste but the beer and service is good. They have a salad bar that looks good. Interested in trying a full meal next time.

We love Swing Bridge! A gem in Lacrescent. The salad bar is truly one of my favorites in the area because it is so fresh and has such an array of items to choose from. The soups are great as well. I usually get the mac and cheese, but I’ve never been disappointed when I’ve branched out and tried something new. The prices are fair too.
