This place was good, the switchback fries were the best honestly, the tacos were a little small and didn’t have a ton of flavor, however the shrimp tacos were the best ones I did have, it would’ve been nice to get some lime with it and maybe a larger variety of hot sauces. The frozen margs were absolutely amazing though, I’d go back just for a marg and the switchback fries and maybe to try something other than a taco. If you order the churros make sure to get the Carmel, strawberry dip, coconut flakes, and whip cream on the side.

Fun fact, if you come here, there are a few things they don’t tell you….

Being from South Texas, it’s a gamble going to a taco restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised about how delicious the food was. We had the beef asada plate, which is perfect for a couple of out of towners to split since it has a little bit of everything we were wanting to order anyways (elote and garlic fries). Everything on the plate was to order, including the extra crispy fries. The beef was tender and well seasoned. We also were curious about some of their meat varieties so we also ordered a trio of tacos: carnitas, chicken adobaba, and brisket. Carnitas were seasoned perfectly and, although the chicken was a little sweeter than I expected, it was still good. Nothing beats Texas brisket but it was still pretty tasty. Worth a visit if you’re here from out of town!

Fantastic vegan options. Marinated mushroom tacos, smoked tofu tacos, cashew crema elote, black bean dip, guacamole, all delicious!! They have a great patio in the back with front row seating to the steam train.

Drank local beer: Steamworks Colorado Kolsch. Cocktail was Paloma and ohhhhh so refreshing. If you like Jarrito Grapefruit, which they have, order the Paloma!

Casual, friendly indoor and outdoor seating. Pulled pork, brisket and charred steak tacos not only looked beautiful but were exceptionally tasty. Loved the Birria Quesatacos served on both a crispy and soft corn tortilla. So easy to eat!

This place was so yummy. Decent portions, and pretty good food! The carne fries are really yummy. But the star of the show was the prickly pear margarita, SO GOOD

Saw this on a whim in our last night in town and the reviews did not disappoint. Awesome Paloma, quac, quesadillas, elote and churros! The birria quesatacos were also very much enjoyed. Quick service even on a Friday night. Just regret that we found this place on our last night! Would definitely come back!
