Wonderful family run restaurant. Met the owners brother, Mel and his wife out shopping. Hope to see Mel and his wife there at Sydney’s, and we as well as our children had the best time! Didn’t know it existed until today. Live jazz, beautiful restaurant with rustic wood beams and a balcony and bar. Attentive wait staff and good food in an upscale atmosphere for adults. Will go back to check out other artists and their Sunday brunch. Tonight’s Prince tribute looked like a sell out!

Always had great food and drinks when I have visited. Service has always been wonderful. Love the live music and close proximity to my home. Flowers on the table tops would be a nice touch. Great place to relax even when Route 1 is not bumper to bumper.

The food is not great and the seating arrangements are less than desirable. I’ve been twice now and there have been issues. Things were somewhat burnt, meat or fish not properly seasoned, and the FLIES! OMG THE FLIES! For the prices I should get better quality food and I shouldn’t have to war with flies while I’m trying to eat the mid-grade room temperature food. Each visit they brought the salad out at the same time as the meal. I thought it was just a fluke the first time but I guess not. The hostess is not very friendly. I’m disappointed.

The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I started with a nice drink. A maple old fashioned and it was delicious! Dinner was the fried chicken with collard greens and mac&cheese. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The mac&cheese was creamy and homemade! There was a nice jazz band there although it was a little loud. But overall it was a nice evening and we will definitely be back!

Kind staff, understaffed, mid food. You could come in here at night for a fun time though. Very slow wait. Wouldn’t recommend but the staff are understanding and kind. Music too loud and you have to shout to hear people but good music. Menu a bit small but food is okay. You may have to wait around 40 mins for food. Overpriced but okay.
