What a gem! My husband and I went looking for “something different” and this taste from the islands did not disappoint! Best Chicken Curry we’ve ever had! The place was small, but super clean. Friendly staff, Bella was our delightful waitress! Great local family business.

Very very disappointed. I ordered 2 plates. One brown stew and jerk chicken and a few other items. So so bland. Jerk had no spice at all.I cant believe how hard the beef patties were. Had to have been in the warmer since early lunch. It was bout 7 when I ordered. I left St. Augustine early to catch them. Very disappointed

Food was excellent. Had brown stew chicken and Haitian patties, one of each, vegetable, chicken, fish. Light, well seasoned, simply some of the best I have ever eaten. Chicken from stew was super tender, rice and peas was excellent. Had cabbage as a side which is my favorite, very tender but still had texture. Service was friendly and fast. Visit for yourself you will be happy and full.

On my recent visit, I was disappointed. I understand the oxtails are charged at the market price, but I expected more than what I received. I ordered ox tails, plantains, and rice. When I reached home, the ox tails were 80% bones with a little meat. The plantings seemed to be sitting on the steam table for a while, this was my go to place but for $27 I expect more than bones. I’m having second thoughts about returning.

I had a horrible experience with this place. We ordered delivery paid $70 plus for about $30 worth if food that we actually got. When I called and spoked to the owner clearly I was upset and she started yelling at me and was no help at all. She literally blew me off and hung up the phone on me. I will never go there or order from them again. Plus the beef stew was tough and chewy and the Mac and cheese was clearly old because it was crusty and not cheesy at all. And everything was cold and we didn’t get all our food. I am a manager at a local place too and we would never argue, yell, disrespect a customer that way. We have gone as far as having our own servers deliver the stuff that was wrong and gave them a free meal next time they came in. I have never been so badly treated by a place especially by the owner.

I’ve eaten curry chicken every where…from Jamaica, Bahamas, St. Croix, New York, Miami, etc.; and none compare to this. Hands down the best curry chicken ever! The rice & peas are really flavorful, and the jerk chicken is delicious. Large portions as well. So glad I found this place!
