Syriana is a nice, quaint, tucked-away restaurant on Hanover Avenue. Staff is friendly. The menu isn’t terribly complex, but I do wonder what they do for allergies l, as it’s not written on the menu. I had a beef shawarma, which itself was flavorful and delicious. I ordered take out and only waited about 5-7 minutes. I appreciated the ease of ordering, paying, and leaving. I plan to come back and explore the menu more in the future.

4.5 actually. My chicken shawarma wrap with fries was huge, couldn’t finish it in one sitting, tasty enough but not great. Plenty of pickles and tatziki sauce. My husband’s fatoush salad with chicken was okay.

I stopped here for the first time today, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a cute, small shop with some tabled inside for dine in but I did takeout. The Chicken Shwarama is fantastic. The spinach pie was very good, and even the fries were excellent. Add to that the great and friendly service from the owner and her daughter. Put Syrian Mediterranean grill on your list of places. You won’t be disappointed!

I try not to give bad reviews but first few bites of my chicken in my salad I knew it was not fresh. Even with all that seasoning foul chicken taste was there. I don’t pay good money for leftovers. Everyday food should be fresh. No matter the response I know that chicken was not.
