Went alone for the dinner. Tried Dan Dan Noddles (担担面) and chilli oil dumplings (红油抄手). Half way eating the dumpling, getting kitchen to increase to super hot. Huh, really spicy after that, but I enjoyed as quite some time didn’t take so spicy already. Sweating, LOLX. No Mongolian Chicken nor Kung Pao Chicken for me as these are very Americanized Chinese Dish here.. haha, no offense.

I’ve lived in China and Taiwan and this restaurant I would say is as authentic as it gets for being in Hillsboro . One word of caution do not get more than a 2/5 spice level , we got 4/5 and it was painful yet still delicious.

Would NOT reccomned. We thought we would try a new place. That was a mistake. Food was not good. Appetizers were cold in the middle. We also didn’t get one of them until after our dinner came out. Their General Tso’s chicken is literally sweet and sour chicken with a few chopped up red chili peppers. It was disgusting. Egg flower soup had zero flavor. We didn’t get one of our dishes until we were all done eating. The service was ok. The young man who waited on us was friendly and courteous. The lady who brought the food out was not so friendly.

Paid for a container of fried chicken that wasn’t even tossed in sauce and had to pay extra for rice. I’ve never had sesame chicken that was literally just fried chicken nuggets that I’m tossing myself at home. They also tasted fishy so they must share the frier oil between all types of meats. How is this worth $15?

This is our regular Chinese place to order from, it’s REALLY good food for the money. Portions are very large. Staff is very friendly and fast. Pictured below is beef chow mein, ma po tofu, and beef fried rice (in the background of the third pic).

A surprise find through Googling for Chinese restaurants two days ago. Opened for business recently at a location that, I think, used to be a Vietnamese restaurant. Anyhow, very good food. We had the Shanghai style pork soup dumplings, spicy shaved noodle, non-spicy seafood pot, and hot and spicy dry pot with prawns. All were very good and good portions, the way the Chinese food is supposed to be! One important factor is that they seem to use quality ingredients and ample amount for the price. This is very different than some restaurants that seek short term savings and profit by skimping on quality and portion. Such restaurant in the long and short run will lead to bad reputation and to losing loyal customers. I hope this place sticks to their current formula.

Surprisingly authentic. Just be sure to inform the server to prepare the food for Chinese taste buds, if you want to “keep it real”. Totally forgot to take pictures to share here…

Hands down one of the best Chinese spots I’ve ever eaten at. Everything was great, Very Authentic. We had the scallion pancakes, Szechuan tofu and the lamb hot pot. Many options for vegetarians. Definitely going back for more!
