It’s been awhile since I’ve been here, but last night I stopped in to grab one of my favorite dishes. Singapore Rice Noodles. They were cooked perfectly with lots of chicken, shrimp, pork, and good sized chunks of vegetables. The curry had a decent heat and tons of flavor. Everything I was craving.

I ordered 45 minutes prior to picking up my order. When I arrived I saw a bagg with food on the counter. They said my order wasn’t ready. They said have a seat. I waited 15 minutes for them to ask what my order was. My order was the one done on the counter ¿

It took an hour extra to get the order complete one e we arrived to pick it up, with partial order already made up. The chicken and broccoli tasted like smoke – smoky flavoring? Burned oil? Idk 3 of us tasted it. We ordered 2 extra bags of fried noodles- all 3 bags were burned. This was the second time we went recently and it took much longer than time specified- in this case 25 minutes. Oh and egg rolls extremely greasy. What happened to your 5 star quality?they never give you tea anymore either

Food was good Chinese food. Never took name when placing order. Due to covid wasn’t allowed in store. Said 20 min and it was full 45 min before I somehow got the right order. Pick-up seemed a little chaotic. Thought overall the taste and the price were worth it.

So we ordered two simple items off the menu and were told 30 minutes. Fine. Arrive 35 minutes later and the place is crowded . Okay. The owner is trying to handle everyone but is clearly overwhelmed and in desperate need of help. I’m standing waiting for him to catch up so I can tell him I there to simply pick up our order. Patiently waited 10 minutes and then he has the nerve to simply cater to a HITS person that walks right up to the counter, past everyone. Doesn’t ask them to wait a minute, because others are waiting…no takes care of her right away. The proceeds to join the cooks to speed up on the orders. Well, rather than get angry…..because he’s done this before, I simply left. Not that I wanted to, nor do I like to do that BUT I had enough. I went to Dragon City on the other side of town and got far superior service. Their food was hot and fresh but most of all delicious!! The owner of Szechuan needs to change his attitude and hire some help during his busy hours. I wish him well in the future but this is one local customer that won’t be returning anytime soon.

Put off the entrees, my mother and I are full for the moment after just wonton soup and shrimp toast. The quart had 10 wontons, most place give you only 6 at most. I’m sure we are going to enjoy the Lemon Chicken and Happy Family. We ate in the restaurant years ago the waiter was fantastic, on the ball. We tipped him $ 17**, he more than earned it.

Have been a customer since they opened, which was at least 20 to 25 years… Kit and his staff always have a friendly and warm offering the same two questions upon entering. “How are.. ? ” ( The family, you, your day, ) Followed up with making sure that our order is taken as soon as we’re ready to do so. I couldn’t even try to say the number of times we’ve ordered special “off menu dishes , discovered after tryin a dish suggested by kit or his chefs. They even re made and replaced my entire order with out charging anything extra after a sizeable order I’d made, took almost 90 minutes from me to arrive and pick it up. This was almost a $ 100.00 order.! There will always be people who prefer one type of place over a other and for many reasons. However because of it’s longevity and genuine relationship it has with it’s customers… There’s is only ONE Kit, and ONE Szechuan King.
