Szechuan Omei had been my “go to” Chinese restaurant until last night. We ordered at 6pm and received a confirmation email that they had received the order and that it would be delivered in 75 minutes. Two hours later we called to see what happened to our food. After being accidentally hung up on 4-5 times, we finally got through to someone. It was clear that our order had been lost or forgotten. She said that the food would be delivered in 40 minutes and that she’d ask the driver to go to us first. There was no apology. We wait another hour and a half. At 9:30 we called again. We asked if our food is ever going to be delivered. She said “no” and that there was a problem with the delivery person. Again, no apology or sign of concern.

Delivery took well over an hour (which I expected based off reviews from grub hub). When I got my food my fried rice was kind of soggy and bland. My dumplings were very soggy and didnt have much meat in them compared to the usual place I eat at. The spicy wings where good. I asked for spicy and I’m just going to assume that was their level of spicy but they were not. Still wasnt bad though (the wings). I will not order from here again.

I’ve been a patron for a long time but no longer. I’ve tolerated their long delivery times (always at least an hour) and the rude drivers because they were the only half decent Chinese food around (and sadly the quality of their food has been declining). After my most recent experience trying to order from them I discovered that they’ve raised their delivery minimum by $5. They already charge a delivery fee and with added tips it’s become ridiculously expensive to order a single meal. Sorry but you don’t get to lower your service and quality while raising your prices and expect to keep customers.

It was great. I read all the negative reviews and I tried it anyway because it was convenient. And was very pleasantly surprised. The service was awesome. Food came out super quick. The mongolian beef was a little salty, but it was still really good. Excellent egg flower soup. Overall nice little Chinese restaurant. I don’t know why all the negative reviews are there unless they’ve changed management again. Give it a shot.

Awful. Just awful. After placing an order, being charged, and waiting almost two hours we still haven’t received our food. When we called back we were met with a hostile answer when we inquired about where our delivery order was. We were given a 45 minute window for delivery and when they finally responded they said the driver was just leaving. I’d love to leave a review about the food…but almost 2 and a half hours later it’s still not here.

Had a major bad experience with them tonight. Used to be my favorite restaurant. Not any longer. Placed my delivery order at 5pm, got my food at 745pm. The contents were cold and one of the cartons spilled leaving a major mess in the box. Then the delivery person messed up reading my card, said he would void the purchase and re-ring it up, Well looks like ive been charged twice for some thing that was in no way good. Id rate this a -31 based on what they overcharged me.

Orders take anywhere from 1.5-2 hours to arrive. Customer service stinks. when I call about my late order I’m always told “driver just left” then it takes another half hour to an hour! This place is literally right down the street. Once when I complained because it took two hours to have food delivered they told me “don’t use the online order feature, just call” well don’t have that feature then!!!! not worth the bother or the wait. I ordered again tonight due to being in a pinch for dinner and here I am… an hour and 45 minutes later, no food. absolutely the WORST delivery service in Tucson I have ever had.

The host failed to tell us that there was not a Chinese chef working that night, and in turn we received food directly out of the freezer package. It was absurd. We lost our appetites it was so bad. It was questionable whether the chicken was actually chicken.
