T-Dougs is known for winning first place in cooking competitions for their crawfish Etuffee. They recently won in Eunice. Our party was quickly seated for dinner on a Friday night. I wholeheartedly recommend the Atchafalaya, which is crawfish etuffee topped with either grilled or fried fish. On Thursdays and Saturdays they have steak night. You can get a steak surf-n-turf style which is a steak topped with their Etuffee! The service is excellent, and the owner himself was walking around making sure our party was well stocked with beverages. Prices are reasonable, and it’s a quick 20-minute drive from Coushatta.

The service was good. But the portion is small and the prices are way too high. You can get better prices and portions in Deridder. Also the fried fish is ok but not for me. Wish they had on the menu that it’s beer batter and not corn meal. They look more like chicken strips. Lol

We’ve eaten here four times so far, and everything that we have tried has been delicious. The building is very nice and clean, and the service is great!

Got there early to beat the crowd a few minutes after 5. There was 3 or 4 other tables. Ordered appetizers then our meal. Appetizer came out promptly then shortly after that salad. All good so far. Around now the place was filling up. Large tables came in ate and left we still waiting. Finally got waitress attention and asked it’s been over an hour and a half. She says they making it now and says that she understands if we want to leave. No we don’t we drove 30 minutes to get here. She comes back out and offers free dessert. We just want get our meal. Took almost 2 hours from the time we ordered. Manager came out explained the problem to her. We did get free dessert and our bill reduced. But to drive 30 minutes to try out what everyone was bragging on I was not impressed and none of the couples with us will go back.

Have had it to go a few times food’s been very good except once my shrimp tasted funny but other then that it’s been great solid food. Burgers, fish, shrimp are all good options. expect to spend $30-$50. Dined in once definitely good service.

They have a really nice place, the food was a little average (I expected more seasoning). I got the Down Da Bayou burger, had shrimp, japelenos, carmalized onions, melted pepperjack and provolone on top…the patty itself was thick but pretty dry and it wasn’t seasoned…the kids meal hamburger is just meat and bread with fries (unseasoned), and the kids meal chicken tenders is 3 tenders and fries (unseasoned)…they do have a housemade season all sitting on the table and salt and pepper…

The hostess was meh, we had a group of 10, was told a 30 minute wait, place was not busy at all, maybe 3 tables. She sat 9 people while we waited. Food was just okay, the amount of food you get is definitely not worth the price. Our server Heidi was truly fantastic, she was spot on with everything and had us laughing alot. I’m not saying we won’t be back, but we won’t drive out of our way.

Great little Cajun restaurant. Food was really good and the service was great. Prices were kinda high, but that’s everywhere now. I would recommend giving it a shot.

New restaurant with good food. I had the catfish covered with crawfish etouffee. Want to go back and taste the catfish and shrimp fried. We returned for lunch, but they said that plate lunches were discontinued. We ordered hamburgers that were good, as well as filling. If it is decided to resume at a later date, would be good to have a large banner or some sort of sign near the highway just saying, “Plate Lunches” so as to flag some of the traffic who as yet do not know who “T Doug” is.

Drove all the way out here to try the boiled crawfish. Menu says boiled crawfish Friday and Saturday only. Big sign when you walk in says “no boiled crawfish tonight”. Frustrating…. Appetizers were good. Anything on the menu that has bacon, contains microwaved bacon. The server was attentive. Food is overpriced. Ordered my food and waited and waited. The rest of my party was half way done with their meal and the server told me the kitchen messed up. No thanks.
