This place is AMAZING. Everything we tried was delicious. The brisket felt so moist and tender, definitely the best I’ve ever had. The owner and all the people in there were extremely nice and accommodating. We had a good time there. Totally recommended.

Great people serving great food! My husband loves to eat at local places instead of fast food chains so we stopped on our way to Broken Bow. If you see this place on the map when looking for food stops on your route make sure to give it a try! The brisket and sausage was amazing! Amazing flavor and perfect texture. We also got to try the smoked mashed potatoes, smoked mac&cheese, and beans – if you can, give it all a try! And besides the great food the owners were absolutely amazing. Thank you guys for the delicious late lunch and all the recommendations for this weekend!

This is tiny place with great food. My wife and I got two fabulous sliced beef brisket sandwiches, chips and drinks for a grand total of $20 bucks. It is a very unpretentious place, a tiny dining room mostly filled with locals. It was probably the best sliced beef brisket sandwich I have ever had. I spoke to the owner and the brisket was cooked 10 hours in his pit out back. Manchester is also tiny so you have to watch for both the town and the BBQ shack. Highly recommended.

This place is the bomb! (Pun intended). Like they haven’t heard that before. We stopped by the other day on our way to Broken Bow after driving by a bunch of times and was not disappointed at all. We were in a rush but grabbed a few sliced Brisket sandwiches and OMG was the best BBQ sandwich myself and wife have ever had and we eat a lot off BBQ living in Texas lol. Owner and wife were awesome and welcoming. Hard working people making a honest living selling smoked cow and other great stuff! A must stop every time now.

Great barbecue & sides. Frequented by locals, but we stopped in after passing by for several months when traveling. The chopped brisket sandwich was very tasty. My husband had the Manchester, a sandwich of brisket, pork, & sausage. It was very good as well. We had the smoked mac & cheese, which will definitely stick to your ribs. Enjoyed sitting inside & visiting with local residents. We each were stuffed & had leftovers.Friendly staff with excellent customer service to go with excellent food.

Beyond delicious! All the five star reviews of this little restaurant are accurate. From the brisket to the sides, it was perfection and yes, everyone who works there will treat you like they’ve known you forever. Our only disappointment was that they were closed for our drive back to DFW from Broken Bow. My husband really wanted to eat there again! It’s just that good!!!
