Friend invited me for lunch, and I am now addicted to these sandwiches. Purchased a whole pita falafel for $20 with all sauces offered. Filled pita with veggies and multiple sauces made for a filling Saturday lunch. Family run business. Very sweet people. Offer gluten-free pita for $2 more. Definitely worth it. Everything made fresh and quickly. I’ve already promoted to more friends to meet me there for lunch next week. We ate at open air picnic tables at farmers market.

Delicious falafel stand with Egyptian style falafel, which are made with fava beans instead of garbanzo/chick peas. The stand is only open on Wednesdays from 10-2 and if they run out they close earlier.

Finally after a year of planning we were able to visit the waimea farmers market and get to check out this falafel place. A family operation humming like a well oiled machine, with Carl and his family preparing freshly baked pita, freshly prepared falafel, the proper authentic salad – nearly diced tomatoes and cucumbers; tahini, harrisa and hummus.
