The doubles with medium everything is one of the best I’ve tasted whilst in Florida!!! The green sauce is flavorful and the pepper has just the right amount of heat. The rum and raising ice cream is very delicious and brings back a taste of home. Service is amicable!. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area. Cannot wait to try the coconut water and well pie as well.

It was my first time trying them. The aloo pie was a bit stiff, and doubles were soft, disappointed since everyone else seemed to like their doubles…. Also bought the pone which tastes like Sybils and just because of that changed my rating on food to a 4. Lol

There are few places that make you feel like you’re in another country. There are fewer that make you feel like you’ve been transported in time. And even fewer that can do both. Welcome to Tabanka – a Trini Kitchen, a place that does both amazingly well. Tabanca in Trini slang, means a deep feeling of longing, loss, and sadness, usually associated with the end of relationships, but as the Mighty Trini taught us, it can also apply to food. And Tabanka looks to fill that void in the hearts of many Trinis, by taking them on a nostalgic trip down memory lane to a simpler time. This experience is by no means reserved for people from Trinidad and Tobago, as the food, the service, and the ambiance are sure to appeal to people from all cultures and backgrounds.

Ordered roti and doubles to be picked up. Got there and was told it’s all in the bag. Usually I’d check but trying to save time I didn’t. Got home and doubles wasn’t in the bag. When I called they knew exactly who I was because the girl immediately apologized for the error. She offered a refund but I asked if I could just have it when next I came which she agreed. Visited almost three weeks after and the same woman was there and as I began explaining myself there was instant recognition. Ate our doubles there and as usual it was great!

This place is so cute really feels like you’re in Trinidad, the doubles was amazing and probably the best I’ve had honestly. The staff was actually very friendly and inviting which was great. Love the decor and the authentic “doubles stand “ feel, will def be returning.

Doubles was delicious. Melt in my mouth. I could have at least three. I didn’t quite like the roti, it was a bit heavy for me. But the doubles saved the day ☺️. And the signs, I haven’t heard those words since being back home.
